I've tried DW Bonus and found it exciting.  I do play some multi-line deuces if I can find decent odds. Most casinos in the East cut the odds on multi-line, so I play it more out west.  I think the best way to go is to learn one game well and stick to it. Other than a few DDW pot shots once in a while, we're pretty much committed to DW.

I love the DW Bonus we have that pays 800 for 4 of a kind with deuce kicker and 10 for a straight. I've never found it in Vegas though. Regular Deuces wild doesn't interest me much except on Multi-line where I've had several natural Royals.

I saw it at Bellagio once with the 98.89% paytable...but it was at the $5 level...gulp.

VPFree2 says they have it at Red Rock on some of their optimum play units. Also at Texas Station. The 100.13% version.

I usually play some Double Deuces in Tunica because at one casino bar its their best game. Can get over 100% with Royal progressive. But has been rough on me so far. But I will happily take my first quarter deuces on THAT deuces game! My last deuces of any type actually came last night on Joker Wild...one of the worst possible games for them.

We're heading down to the Hollywood Hard Rock this morning for two days of deuces.   Instead of moving up at $40, I recently switched to 50 cent max coin play all the time.   Made this move last week in Tampa and it worked out great.  That Dancer guy may be on to something.  We'll see...

Another thing frustrating about deuces is the need to throw away your entire hand a lot as well as the times you hit any natural four of a kind other than deuces. I'm thankful it's been years since I've hit four Aces on Deuces.I have had many a good hit in DW throwing all away from 4 deuces to a royal. I don't find it frustrating its just part of the game. I do see a lot of natural 4ok in DW, that is frustrating since I play JOB 75% of the time.

Yeah, and you just got throwaway deuces. Nice! I've actually done it twice before. Very surprising for the amount of deuces I typically play. Only on nickels and pennies though. Meh.

Just returned from our three day VP trip to the Hollywood Hard Rock Casino.   When we checked in we were surprised to find they had upgraded us to a suite.  Pretty heady stuff for a couple of quarter VP players.  I took Dancer's advice and have been playing slots with my free play and it seems to be working.  I guess it doesn't hurt that there are two of us and we have been visiting more frequently as of late.   Our VP play went well this trip.  My wife and I both hit three sets of quad deuces each.  This was right on schedule at 5,000 hands per quad deuce.   Hers were all in quarters and two of mine were quarters and one in dollars.  I tried flat betting 50 cents all the time and it doesn't work for me. The negative odds and human errors on my part are just too much to overcome.  I find I'm much better off playing quarters and taking a pot shot on the dollar machines once in a while.  P.S.  One thing we have found interesting about the Hard Rock.  At all the other casinos we have stayed at they always make us pay the room and food taxes even if the room is comped.  At the Beau Rivage, the rooms fees and extra stuff were at least $200 over three days time.   A comped room at Hollywood is truly a comp.  When we check out we owe them nothing.

That's how Red Rock has treated our comped rooms. Plus no resort fee. Of course, it's been over a year since we were there and things could have changed.

When we stayed at the Red Rock a few months ago we payed for the rooms in advance through Expedia.  After our trip we were surprised to see a sizable charge from the Red Rock on our credit cards.  After a call to Expedia we were told the room taxes were around $30 a day and they were extra.   It seems Vegas is hitting up visitors pretty hard these days.  This week I read that Vegas is increasing their room taxes to pay for a new football stadium.  Why Vegas needs a football team is beyond me.   Who's going to go to the games, Wayne Newton and the ghost of Liberace?   Could be interesting, maybe you will be able to bet on each play...

Since I started playing video poker some 25 years ago, I have had a strong preference for the deuces wild games.

On Saturday, we are off to Laughlin on yet another CET junket where we will have a very healthy diet of 98.91% deuces wild (3,5 or 10 play 25c), and 98.8% bonus deuces wild (50 play 5c).

Just back from another Mohegan trip. It was a bust and I stuck with Bonus Deuces Wild the entire time without quad deuces. I did manage to hit 4 aces without any deuces 3 times and two of those were with kickers.
