Yeah, let M resort ask you this (assuming it's for the change on your ticket). If you don't want to donate and collect change in a piggy bank, that's completely up to you. I am not a huge fan of change and would occasionally consider this option.
At the Florida Hard Rocks, the ticket cashing machines do not dispense coins. They give you a white ticket for anything under a dollar.  Many people leave the tickets in the machine and some carry them to the cashier.  I asked about this a few months ago and they told me all the money the casino earns this way goes to local charities. This made players feel better as many thought they kept the money.  I don't cash these tickets myself and I'm fine with giving the money away.Â
This is really what M should probably do if they are bothering with the charity stuff.

I am a baby boomer, and quite stubborn. I am going to cash out every TITO and pocket even that 50 cents.
If I gambled only once a week for a year, and pocketed that bothersome 50 cents each week, that's $25. Multiply that by the number of players in a casino EACH DAY who want to "toss" that 50 cents.
NO THANKS, M.

If you play twice a week, having to press the no button will cost you almost two minutes of your time over the next couple of years. I'd sue.
I ate lunch today at Farm Boys. Cashier asked me if I wanted to buy a haystack or something for a dollar, all proceeds going to LV Youth. It ruined my meal. How dare a company solicit for a charity. The outrage. Next thing you know, they'll be setting up kettles with bellringers outside the door.

Coushatta, in La. replaced its TITO cash out machines with new models that no longer give change. (like FLoridaPhil-Hard Rock). After receiving your cash you receive a TITO ticket for the change. This can be added back into the next machine or kept until later. They have now also added a donation box for the change tickets to be donated to the tribe's charities like scholarship, etc. Not sure how much is collected but lots of people seem to not want to bother with the change tickets.

Reasonable, you can combine those tickets, take to cashier at the end of the night, or just keep adding them into next machine.

Casino Arizona had TITOs for change in place a number of years ago. Pain in the ass to go to the cashier for $.25. Haven't been there for well over a year.

The casinos say it is due to labor and this is a total crock of bull. Machines don't accept change, the coins that are not played add up to a few percent of dollar gambled if the players are converting a lot of cash into tickets. I wouldn't be surprised if slot players lose $100, but leave with $5-10 in quarters, nickels and pennies.

I cashed tickets at three different locations in the M today. Two did not have the donate to charity feature, and one did.
