Re: Switching Games
Today was an FAA day for sure. Trying not to get any w-2gs anymore due to the awful consequences to the new Trump tax package. Brought just a hundred with me to Mohegan determined to just play job quarters. No Royals, but I turned that hundred into 500. The quads were 4 times as often as they should be which is quite rare. Near the end of the session, I could feel the tide was turning and I would go many hands without a full house never mind a quad which never appeared again. Bottom line is had 600 but bailed after giving a hundred back and left with 500 so I was plus 400 for the long session.
There is a side story to all of this. I had just registered for the Super Bowl party at Mohegan in hopes of winning the ten grand drawing. The wife called from home saying she had a blowout on the highway and barely limped the car off and into a well lit parking lot. We have AAA but I felt I had to deal with this since she said the tire was smoking etc. Left the casino drove the hour plus drive home and was able to limp the car to dads house just 2 miles away. So I gave her the rental car I had, fired up my old Saturn with 365k on the clock and with her permission headed back up to Mohegan. We had pouring rain through all of this and I will deal with her car tomorrow. Anyway, got back for the last ten minutes of the game which I only half watched, but was starving and pounded the football type food Mohegan had set out for the party. Right after the game I began my job quarter marathon which lasted until 6 Am. Then caught some much needed sleep etc. By the way, I also had 5 shots at a Royal with 4 cards dealt, but didn't connect. It was a good day overall. Thank God the Mrs is safe. That was the main thing I was worried about.

Congratulations. I thought turning $100 into $400 was amazing. I only played maybe an hour, but it was dollar CS. You risked so little and managed to play forever. Machines were hot; I could have played another half hour.

Olds, you have your priorities right. Loved ones come first, especially the Mrs.
