One more Mohegan Sun tidbit. In August 2011, I took a pit stop 5 minute break from my machine under the turtle dome. When I came back, an employee was placing a tiny sticker on the machine that said….this machine does not pay Momentum Dollars. That was the end or earning spendable points on 99 percent machines. Now some of the 98 percent machines have the sticker as well. Some are black and some are white. Good luck reading them unless you have your glasses on or still have 20/20 vision.

Infortunately, in Ct at.least as far as I know, there are no 99 percent multiline games.

Perhaps I'm not right about that but I think I am because you are usually underroyaled most of the time and you know it's impossible to make up that extra 2% or so playing 99.54 jacks or 99.95 pick em (the latter having a royal cycle so difficult it's nearly impossible to overcome and the former being about as interesting as watching paint dry). If I was as lucky as you are at hitting deuces or quints in joker kings above expected frequency, I might abandon playing some games with higher theoretical returns as well.

I know the under royaled thing for Olds has been a problem and for me to think even a lifetime of play he will never recover all the lost royals.

For me it's just the opposite, I am over royaled most every year yet for the past 5 years I can only muster 98.5% or less return on 99.5% games year after year. I know the correct holds, there is just something a miss with these machines.

The fact that we both play at Indian casinos might have something to do with it.

I wonder about many things we will probably never get the answers to having to do with the extensive play we have both had. For instance, and my wife can vouch for this and has seen it many times. If a certain number of sessions have gone by without quad deuces, I may say to her I am right at the point where deuces are going to come out sooner than later. Sure enough, it is usually within minutes or at most an hour or two. I somehow can predict when the dealt ones will hit too. Don’t ask me how, but the other night when the limited nightly bankroll had vanished, we discussed hitting the ATM for a couple of hundred. I told her hopefully she would get. a call within a few minutes. I was playing in Earth and she in sky. She got the call from me in less than ten minutes. Dealt deuces ( no kicker) on all 3 lines on the quarter spin poker game. On the other hand, I have absolutely no luck predicting when a Royal will hit. Somethings just can’t be exlained that’s all I can say. If I remember, LL has similar stories with different circumstances.

That was also the end of the party they were throwing for years !! Best play on the planet !!

Yep 100 percent. At least we have a few crumbs left to snack on. That bank of Pickems in Sky gets played well into the weeeee hours.

Congrats again! Had a marathon session beginning about 2 AM and into early afternoon. Luckily had some sleep at home before attempting such a feat. I played the same 96 percent machine with options of 3,5,10, or 20 cent play and up to 20 lines to boot. I have been able so far for several sessions to overcome the whopping house edge of nearly 4 percent. Statistics dictate that will not last forever. I start at a 3 cent bet with bet 5 per line to insure correct Royal payment should one hit. Bets go up and down throughout the session both on lines and denomination. Toward the end of the session I was fortunate to hit quad deuces on several lines at the 20 cent denomination playing Bonus Deuces Wild. No pics since the machine on a jackpot doesn’t even show you where you hit or how much. Secured a hand-pay of an odd amount 1,417. Gov Lamont showed up just in time. Instead of a fist pump, he held out his hand for the 100 dollar bill State of Ct withholding. He also danced an Irish Jig on the way out. ( just kidding of course except for kissing that hundred goodbye. ) Net day….plus 900. No Royal. My best guess on hands played is about 30,000-40,000 hands due to the multiline play. I also was able to earn 100 in free play by earning enough status points. It was triple status point day. Another 100 free play for hitting the 2,000 status point mark this cycle. Banked both of those for the next trip.
Just a quick side note. The clone kept me roughly up 200 and down 200 for the bulk of the session before the big hit at the end. I was never in danger in 11 hours of play in busting my 800 buck bankroll.

What a howl! I would have preferred that a hot cocktail waitress fist bump me than the janitor. But they are nonexistent at Caesars. I was grateful for any acknowledgment. Glad that I have yet to contribute winnings to government coffers. But I would like to get this hand pay off my bucket list before I kick the . Baby Royal is still cute!

I’ll take a baby Royal every session. If I hit one tonite at the 3 cent level, it will pay me a whopping 120 bucks. Will see how long I can defy the odds giving ip 4 percent to the house. The Mrs is going this trip.
