Thanks Ted as well for the discipline lesson. After the first one, I budgeted a minimal amount to see if things were still hot. Turns out they were. After that, I chilled with a nice cup of hot coffee and just dropped in a single 100 into a quarter JOB game at a closed bar at Bizarro. I was even able to turn the 100 into 200 and headed for the hills right after coffee.

Good luck. Stay warm and hope you don't have a massive snowstorm like further south.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 11:36 amSolo low key trip planned for late tonight. The Mrs is on tap for mid week. Will probably just chill with a cold one and watch a couple of games. Will start with quarter JOB single line. I want to take advantage of the 99.54 machines while there are a few left in this big casino. Last ballpark count only about a dozen or so remain. I notice their Vp business is way off, but a slot manager told me they are doing a massive business on line. That’s not for me though.

Thanks Bill fingers crossed. The storm will track less than 50 miles from us. If it shifts overnight.
. It is in the 20s outside, but windy and feels much colder. I will be getting something off to the Salt River folks soon. My shelter too as usual.

One time several years ago a friend was in town and we went to a Joliet, IL casino. I got up about 2k and didn't feel like pressing my luck so I decided to stop. My buddy wanted to continue playing so I went out to my truck and took about a 3 hour nap until he called me, saying he was done. I went home feeling pretty good about myself and I got some extra sleep in too.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 4:53 pmThanks Ted as well for the discipline lesson. Wonder if Ted’s friend broke even. Three hours is a long time to tempt fate.

My kids in MD and VA apparently will be slammed. The horses will appreciate your generosity.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 5:01 pmThanks Bill fingers crossed. I got a nice Christmas card from them Bill. If I remember, I’ll post it. It’s still hanging up with the other cards in the house. Actually, just arrived at Bizarro. Checking is and we’ll see how the machines treat me in a bit. Thanks.

When he came to town to play, he was strictly a slots player. When he was in for an overnighter, he usually had about 30k with him in cash. I never ask a player, who has those resources, if they are up or down.
