Surviving 9/6 JOB with no Royals and few quads.

Smoking is gambling's handmaiden. They are going to get their smoke on regardless. The attendant increased radius from other gamblers is a great fringe benefit. If I sought that goal, I would have accidentally spilled coffee on the adjacent machine to at least keep one side free. Phil, it was wise to get it off your chest and vent to the person to at least affect his psyche, assuming he is not a psychopath. Sad to hear that it could have easily escalated. Hey, in your case, moving within did not lessen the pay tables, as they are poor everywhere!

What may I ask you a cigar smoking gambler supposed to do? Stop smoking his cigar because it offends you?

HELL YES!   If some country boy wants  to dip snuff, would you let him spit tobacco juice all over the machines?  It's the same thing only you're spitting into the air....

If smoking really offends you, come to Ohio to play. All casino floors are smoke free. Most do have a smoking area outside.

What may I ask you a cigar smoking gambler supposed to do?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I accept it as my lot that particular day. If it's really bad, I leave. I have the best casino in town at my disposal a few miles away anyway. If it happens there, plenty of full pay machines on the premises to use.

I agree with you FAA, I really just leave the area. The problem is these cigar smokers know they are bothering a whole lot of people and seem to enjoy it. On to a Friday happening at Borgata. I lost $300 on my Friday afternoon session of .50 SDB, but a woman from Toms River who I see frequently hit 2 $4,000 royals within an hour on that bank.To top it off, one was holding 2 cards and the other was a one card hold. Congrats, Debbie.

Ditto for Ontario. The problem here is that there's not much to play anymore.

I have fared quite well back to back weeks at Borgata. Sorry for your sizable loss. I don't even know what you guys are doing. SDB is Greek to me. I'm sure she wasn't Debbie Downer on Friday! $8000 in jackpots. Different machines? My min coin Royal Flush yesterday was with a two card hold. You can't even prepare for those shockers!
