Re: Bizarro World 2025
You're certainly having a royally good time this year. I can't help wondering if you combined this year's great results with your past royalless streaks how the royals per hand would work out.
In any case, keep up the good work!

After your hard boiled marathon session, you can buy out market’s entire egg supply. It ain’t chicken feed.

I’m not sure OMT. I know it look likes lots of Royals, but our sessions have all been real Marathons. 8-12 hours every trip. If I play an average of 3 lines, that’s about 1800 hands an hour. So roughly a Royal should come in every 3 sessions or so. I can look back pretty quick and see if that is the range it has been in.

I only count 7 unless I missed something. I think 21 sessions this year so far, so it looks like they are just about on schedule so far. I’m sure it’s accurate to within 10 percent. I will say it is longer than I can remember that Royals have come in on time for me. I have been lucky in that some have come in late in a session where because of playing the Clone, the bets have been higher late in a session. 4 have been big ones.

Interesting to consider that they’re as timely as Swiss watches. That’s a great groove to be in.

Decided to have a less serious play for fun day on Sunday evening. No Royals or even a quad Deuce, but this hand left me 52 bucks ahead.

I'd want to take it easy after such great hits too. I found kindred spirits in Texas Monthly:
The Men Spending $1,000 a Day in Pursuit of Big Bass
Meet the weekend warriors stalking double-digit lunkers on the state’s many private lakes—which themselves cost landowners small fortunes.

I thought for awhile I may have caught the largest Largemouth Bass in Ct ( female released ) at Mondo Pond in Milford about 10 years ago. As usual not close and no cigar. Mine was 7lbs 7 ounces. The state record going back to 1961 is 12 lbs 9 ounces. Caught at a lake not all that far from Bizarro near the Mass line. Of course no Bizarro back then. I did fish that lake regularly in the 1970s and 1980s. The big big ones are of course caught down south or out west. In 1962, after an hours fight on light tackle from shore in salt water, I thought I had a monster. I did, but it was a 5 foot Sand Shark. I released it anyway. ( very carefully ) I was only 14.
Solo Bizarro trip tonight, but very late.

Good luck, olds. Use the right bait and land a whopper, or two...

Thanks Ted. I think I will start off with the Triple Play spin poker. Looking of course for a Whopper of a dealt hand.
( that would be on 27 hands )!! The Illinois State record is 13 lbs 1 oz. Caught in 1976 at Stone Quarry Lake. Naperville. Just guessing, not far from you.
