Re: A Trip to Bizarro World!
The most simple example I can think of to explain just the basics of playing Martingale clone would be betting one dollar on a 96 jacks for a better game. You lose 17 straight hands and on the 18th and you hit a full house. You are still out nine bucks. If on the 18th and I had switched my bet to two bucks I would get 18 bucks back.

Let's see if I understand. Imagine you play at home with a 96% deuces bonus pay schedule on all bets. You use physical cards and shuffle very thoroughly between hands.
If the betting limits are 1 to 5, the game is unbeatable long-term.
If limits are 1 to 100, the game is beatable long-term using a properly tuned martingale.
Both setups are beatable short-term using supplemental techniques such as session targets.

Yes anything is beatable short term one time I walked into Mohegan sun and the very first hand I played On a 97% double down stud game was a dealt royal flush For 5000 bucks within initial bit of $1.25 that was doubled after I saw the first four cards. What I may do if I can remember to do this every trip to Mohegan sun is put in 500 bucks into a machine which will give me 2000 credits on quarters. And then take a picture when it goes up by 10% to 2200 credits or more playing with Martingale clone. I could almost guarantee But I have to do it and take pictures of it myself to prove it there will be virtually no sessions where my credits are not 2200 or higher. My biggest problem to this day is discipline very difficult to be happy with just 10% even though the banks aren’t even paying one percent a year I don’t know why Siri cannot follow basic grammar punctuation and capitalization rules never mind typing words that have nothing to do with what you dictate. That’s why some of my posts are so messed up and it takes me 10 minutes to fix them up. Sometimes I just cannot type wherever I am and that’s why I use Siri but I am getting tired of it

If I am correct, if I had proper discipline, I should make 50 bucks a session and quit. That would be 150 for the week and about 7500 for the year. Haven’t managed to accomplish it yet in over 25 years of play. Love playing video poker too much to quit when it’s time to most of the time

I am reluctantly going to have to remove jacks or better 99.54% from my playlist. Just too many sessions over the last six months with six hours, seven hours, or even eight hours without a single quad and scarcity of full houses as well. Never mind the absence of a royal flush. I am tired of playing catch up on games with wild cards after being down anywhere from $300-$800 on a junkie jacks or better machine.

JOB has been profitable for me. I’m usually running up my share of quads. Last month’s baby RF was the heavy icing on the cake. Of course, you want BP to actually make something for a premium hand instead of squandering its potential. I took the $200 and ran today.

I just checked my last 35 Royals going back just about exactly 2 years. Only 5 wereJOB play. In the long run I should have had 9 on JOB considering JOB has been about 25 percent of my play during that time period.

Sounds like you got jobbed! I’ll take four RFs in two years. I must barely play a tenth of your hands!
