From the frying pan into the fridge. That fridge was colder than your JOB play. It's such a lousy, stressful trip when hit with an early loss and must spend the back end of your allotted play time attempting to bail yourself out. I got cheesed off when housekeeping left a mozzarella stick wrapper in the waste basket on my Resorts trip. But you can't drive yourself crazy and must let a few minor things slide. I can't wait for my next indulgent bath there. More bad news: Disney 52 week low, $121. You were left holding the bag on it.

Yep and still holding it. Idiots at the helm. The fridge thing could have been bad if we had opened it and it exploded. Its at floor level so you have to bend way down and peek in to see anything. Hundreds if shards of glass.

Same setup at Resorts. They leave out two half pints of water, so I throw that in upon arrival. I sometimes throw in a White House sub as well. Your casino lifestyle has me hankering to book a room again. I'll probably pay for it with a lost VP $90, of course. $31 resort fee is nonnegotiable.

Surprised! A comp room at Mohegan opened up at Mohegan about 5 pm. I grabbed it. This morning it was nearly 300 bucks. Just pulled into their garage. I think they feel 200 bucks was not enough payback for them on recent hits. Anyway, same game plan except NO JOB this time. Starving. Only had light breakfast so far. Busy all day. Taking care of that first, checking in, Amstel or 2 for sure then see how it goes.

Bound to happen! Huge budget buster. Allowed 300-400 bucks on each game… Quarter bonus deuces wild, deuces wild, joker kings, Double down stud Bonus deuces wild, Jacks or better, Hit nothing on anything. 2 chances on Royals, 9 chances at hitting the 4 th deuce. NADA!!! Net loss…..just under 2,000 bucks.

Full disclosure, if I visited Mohegan I would likely play the $1 Pickem.
When's the last time you tried the Pickem?

On the other hand, I will decline that free room offer. This is an epic disaster. $200 loss bad enough without adding a zero on the next trip. Did you resort to ATM? I’ll do minimal rope a dope tomorrow and stay outside as much as possible. Cautionary tale alert!

I don’t play Pickin poker I just don’t care for the game and I also don’t know the strategy that well I know it has very good odds at the dollar level. To add insult to injury, I had $25 free play this morning but the budget of course was busted last night so I played the three cent spin poker just for fun in in 10 minutes hit this. That’s one reason I called this place bizarro world. Play 89 or even 10 hours at quarters or dollars and hit absolutely nothing and play a three cent game for 10 minutes and hit multiple deuces wild. No ATM, but kiss my prior earnings and hard work goodbye. I played conservative
with quarters just one of those sessions where I hit absolutely nothing until this goofball win this morning

I know you don't like Pickem. I only mentioned it because I posted about it the day before.

Been many years since I played it. Afaik, full-pay is gone from southern Nevada. Fremont in downtown Vegas downgraded about four years ago. They may have been the last holdout.
