Anybody have any history of online play?
That would be me. I have no insight into the discipline aspect. Advantage play is so ingrained into me that I have no desire to play negative games. It wouldn't be fun. And I'm too lazy to overdose on positive games, assuming that's logically possible.

My online play 20 or so years ago was profitable with wide margins. Rigged games did exist, and some operators were slow to pay, but those were minor inconveniences considering promo quality.

In this current era of state-regulated operators, the most widely available category is sportsbook. Rigging is not really an issue because the payoffs are displayed and agreed upon when you place a bet. Promos are diminishing but still excellent because the operators are in customer acquisition mode imo.

I have no experience with the current crop of online casinos, but my default assumption would be fair games. I would like to scout the casinos myself, but haven't looked thoroughly to see if that's possible from out of state without an account. Some time back I was able to look at a few offerings in New Jersey or some nearby state, and as I recall they had single line full-pay, and possibly the multi-line was trimmed a little. For whatever reason, that's been a common scenario offshore as well.

Online advantage play is typically a matter of promo optimization, imo. In the b&m world, it's not practical to drive all around town (or state) visiting casinos for small value. But online, you can go anywhere simply by logging in. So now a small promo worth $10 can easily be worthwhile.

You have to be alert for available promos, and attentive to analyze them correctly.

Here in Nevada our sportsbooks basically don't run any promos, but I receive free monthly credit from Caesars, and I try to bet as intelligently as possible by comparison shopping. For example, if the other books have the Giants (ML) at +105 and Caesars has the line at +110, then I feel pretty good about betting the +110 even though I couldn't pick the Giants out of a conga line.

Not yet for me, but my guess is things are about the same. AP has good points. The clientele, employees, and most paytables are better at Mohegan. Doris has some very good points too. I am going to give Bizarro some more time to see if it turns around. Not much more though. No on line playing for me. Discipline and general did trust of those sites add to that decision.
I used to split my time at both casinos. Once I make Ascend status at Mohegan, I will probably play some at Foxwoods. Have to think about it some more. Also the players club benefits are straight forward and easy to understand at Mohegan. Not so at Foxwoods. For instance I can go to the lounge at Mohegan 24/7 with the Ascend status as long as my monthly credit hasn’t been used up. With Foxwoods, you never know when and if you will have access At least as of 5 years ago, Agree with tech too

At online poker I was strictly a bonus ho. Just give me a nice reload bonus, and I'll fire up 8 tables and play ABC.
