Re: The Path II
Ditto. Has been millions of hands since I have been dealt one. About 8 million.

The 800:1 is apparently a Mohegan luxury, which justifies playing below full coin. I play JOB for an hour as a relatively safe warm up. They do serve up a heavy amount of otherwise premium quads. This is my second dealt RF in two years. I do not particularly appreciate them, as it was unlucky coin in on both.

Agree. I always play full coin in especially since I also play progressives if at all possible.onemoretry wrote: ↑Sun Dec 25, 2022 5:55 amDitto. But, too bad it wasn't a real one, i.e., a full 800 for 1.

Yeah, I do like the Caesars JOB progressive situation, one of the few in the country. I was all in. I would have won an extra $60 if I hit there, which actually would have been preferable!

Unfortunately, Mohegan Sun does not offer 800 for bet one on 9/6 JOB. I like to play it on Joker Kings. 98.44 The Royal pays 940 for bet a quarter on a couple of machines.

I see. It's amazing that it is offered at all. I would learn JK for that incentive.

Joker Kings is a bit tricky if you play perfect strategy. You can read up on Bob D’s strategy if you ever have the interest. I know I make my share of mistakes on JK by not holding cards that make no sense even though it is the correct hold like just holding a single one or two nothing cards. I do have access to JOB 9/5. And 800 for bet one. I just can’t bring myself to play it when I can get 9/6 for 1.25 a shot. For me, the 800 for one is great on low budget or just playing to play days on All Star 2 machines for nickels or dimes. Even though the return is 96-97 percent.

Yes, the JOB 800 incentive loses its luster with a 9/5 table burying players for 99.99% of their hands. Just hunker down for 9/6 on quarters as I do. I also get it on dollars, but at that denom I focus on BP. I will miss my Platinum goal this year, which means missing a free room night. I will just concede that perk.
