Phil, so you are saying that the forum goes dead for days at a time when you don't post? So what? You have other issues if you have the internal need to post here just because you are concerned about the amount of traffic on this forum.

This forum is not a damsel in distress waiting for you to ride up on your white horse to save it.
I enjoy posting on this forum. It makes me think. Some people don't like to think for themselves. They do whatever the crowd does. My experience with video poker is not anything like what the experts have described. When I go to the casino, I don't see any positive VP games. No one that I know can play computer perfect forever and everyone stops playing before their money runs out. All I can post about is what happens to me. You may not like what happens to me. I can't help that.

There are many more players at my casino like me than there are experts. We do the best we can with what we have. More importantly, we have a good time doing what we do. May I suggest you start a thread of your own? The best way to stop me from posting is to say something worth listening to.

Phil, thank you for posting in a different thread: more truthful results of how you came into those $17,000.00 worth of jackpots.

No problem. Your question was understandable. No one could produce $17,000 worth of jackpots in two years by playing single coin quarters alone. I hope my answer cleared this up.

Phil, I've stated many times before that I have no need (internal or external) to start forum posts other than trip reports and the occasional post about casino news. You on the other hand, have an obvious internal need to post, whether it be new information or more likely; the same tired information that you've posted many, many times before.

As others have pointed out; why not give your tired typing fingers a much deserved rest.

Ted, I come on this forum to share experiences with other players. I don't come here to show off my jackpots. There was a time when this interested me. Like you, I have hit so many royals that I quit counting them a long time ago.

I see a disparity in the game of VP that I know and the game being described by the experts. I don't think I am alone in this observation. It makes me wonder if the VP the experts are playing is the same game. I don't know where they find these games. It also makes we wonder who has the money to gamble like that? No one that I know. The players I know get angry with themselves when they lose $500. I wonder what it's like to lose $100K in a week.

Why don't you answer some of these questions instead of asking me the same ones over and over again? Where do you play VP? Are you a long term VP winner? Does your wife gamble? Does she care if you lose money? What do you do in your spare time?

Start your own thread so we can tell you have something to say other than what's wrong with the rest of us.

And who was it recently that said: "If you can't stand the heat in the forum, don't post?"

I sometimes wonder if the members of this forum that are so critical of what I post actually play video poker? It seems no one ever loses and everyone is a long term winner. This tells me they are living in a world of their own making.

I would like an expert to tell us the best way to play the games we have access to instead of the games few can find. I would like to hear what it feels like when you are down five royals on a $5 game. I want to know if one of their family members ever questioned their choice of a gambling career? If they posted on topics like this, I could rest my fingers.

You see Ted, I play VP in the real world. I play down in the trenches with the 98% quarter players. There are no long term winners here, only long term losers. The funny thing is no one is complaining. We enjoy the game as entertainment. No one down here is counting on profit. As long as we enjoy the show, we will continue to play. When it stops being fun, we will walk away. When that happens, the experts will have to find something else to write about.

I sometimes wonder what forum you are reading because that's not an accurate observation. You are very selective in your reading.
