A whole two hours?! However did you both survive? Suite life, but sour VP strife. Sounds like a -$500 excursion. Y’all come on back anytime, now! I saw $5.09.9 today. They’re simply waiting for the Monday sticker shock effect.

Yep! My A/C trips before Ct casinos were built ran close to 5 hours. Many times, I would come back the same day! 10 hours driving, 4-6 hours playing, and a couple dining or walking the boardwalk or taking the Harrah’s Marina cruise.

Interesting to consider our Travel:Play ratio to make the game worth the candle. It should probably be no higher than 2:1. Otherwise, what the hell are we doing? We should maximize that time doing what we came to do. In the event of a hand pay, I’m still exiting. Otherwise, play even if it means dropping a denomination.

We couldn’t take this to the bank, but just a couple of shots of what they gave us Thursday evening at Mohegan/Bizarro World. Also came with Munsons chocolate treats on the house. Very Nice.

I can’t say you will win and I hardly ever do, but if one wants to stay and play in a really nice and super clean facility, I would highly recommend it. There are plenty of 99 percent quarter games too. NO SMOKING !!! The best part of all.

Let them eat chocolate! They must have a sweetheart corporate deal with Munsons, the CT fine chocolate monopoly. I’d provide bananas, befitting Bizarro World. It also keeps the patrons, an unhealthy clientele to begin with, healthy.

What they gave you? More like what you already paid for...you should probably be getting much more.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 12:52 amWe couldn’t take this to the bank, but just a couple of shots of what they gave us Thursday evening at Mohegan/Bizarro World.

Exactly what I thought also TripleTriple. Losing has always been a part of gambling (although there were far fewer of those trips years ago) but the fact you think your getting “value” is the opposite of how the wife and I feel. We always got whatever room we wanted years ago, subject to availability of course. These days they pretend to throw you a small bone from time to time. Add in the obscene food costs if you actually paid for them and it’s a joke compared to not that many years ago. Used to be a fine room at least and if you paid for food it was lower cost etc, these days it’s hit every customer as hard as you can.

The days of expensive food comps are pretty much over for me at least up here. No spendable points on Vp machines that pay 99 percent. They give me 800 points lose or use a month I can use for non comped rooms and limited food items and the usual 30 dollar gifts that mostly get given away or donated. So different than years ago. The comp rooms are drying up too. They are booking lots of conventions. Regular slods are slowly but surely replacing vp.
