The trip Thursday night was a bust. 800 bucks gone bye bye. I should have just stuck with one line not 3 and would have lost less than 300. No Royal, no quad Deuces, no 5 Aces, and only 2 five of a kinds. About 15,000 hands. I did stick with the 40 loss bet plan.

Holy crap. That huge a bust and following the plan to the letter! Yes, it was defies single line trip. I hate to even clutter the screen and mind with multiple hands. On single line, you scale up after -$40. Here, was it after -$120? Just checking.

No, but I should have. Constant battle with discipline on being aggressive with the Clone too fast. Tentative plan for a rematch Sunday evening, but if so, it will be a single line game. I still believe -40 is the good number. Since I busted early on the last trip, I didn’t put in the normal hours required for a turnaround. 😬 I have to keep remembering a line from the old Doublemint gum commercial. “ Double your pleasure double your fun “ is the opposite in VP. In this case it was Triple 😬. The extra variance until a good hit puts a strain on my Discipline or lack there of. Some players handle it fine like in DDB or TDB games. I don’t. Bonus Deuces Wild is about all I can handle in the balance duel between boring JOB and not boring BDW. Geeez! What a wordy post.

This trip was even bitter for me as a vicarious observer. Double trouble, triple tumble is the typical VP outcome. That’s a lot of cold hard cash transferred, double my last fiasco. I want to lean on your discipline as a VP elder statesman to set the standard. You can give me the old Charles Barkley “We’re not role models” reply. Your Huskies were robbed yesterday by a referee who frankly should have swallowed their whistle at 00.09. ABC does prefer Iowa in the Final, fwiw. Bad week.

Why would you say this? It was clearly a foul and in my opinion, a good call by the ref.

I have plenty of company with serious NCAA/NBA credibility. You are entitled to your Windy City air.

I of course wanted the UCONN girls to win. Not being a fly on the wall, I hate to second guess. Cameras can be tricky. That said, I would like to watch the call again just out of curiosity. South Carolina will be tough beyond tough!! I see the illegal screen, but I guess many others could have been called throughout the game too. Unfortunately, the girls were just outplayed in the second half.

As was its VP alumnus. Let’s clamp down on discipline!
