Re: Bizarro World 2024!
Overnight with the Mrs planned for tomorrow. Hope her luck holds and mine gets a little better. Will probably start out with quarters on Deuces Wild 98.91 and see what happens.

You’re as cold as ice, you’re willing to sacrifice.
That combo will always have you singing the blues guaranteed. Adios $1,200!

Still up for the year, but not much. Machines continue to have big swings. Enough to wipe out bankroll. The only defense is to limit the Clone upside bet amounts and cut losses earlier or switch to lower denominations and stay there. There will be no 4 k or higher jackpots that way, but still quite possible to go home ahead. With lower denominations you also sacrifice pay table edge and chances of additional free play or other awards, so that’s a catch 22 as well. As posted, it will definitely be a quarter night to start. I will be happy to retrieve 1/2 of the donation to the Greedy politicians and I don’t just mean the casino. I have my sights set on my Greedy State. I have no problem in general paying taxes on gambling earnings, but taxing the gross with no ability to write off losses at least up to the amount of winnings is totally insane. IMO it should mirror stock market tax rules at the Fed level even forgetting the favorable Capital Gains rates. Will never happen in this State. The Fed rule that needs to go to but won’t is forcing someone to itemize deductions to offset gambling wins with losses. That rule costs me thousands a year too. No more Irish Jigs for you Lamont if I can help it

It seems that you lost $1,100 and recouped it while the Sky-Fever game was proceeding. Was there any buzz about Clark? Did you attempt to get a ticket? Sounds like a missed opportunity.

Couldn’t get a ticket for that game. I probably could have when they first came out, but waited a bit. I did watch the game on TV. I think Kaitlyn Clark had 20 points. She had a slow start, but the Connecticut son played a really good game and beat them up pretty good at the end. I don’t believe they were ever behind. I was home yesterday the 1200 or so. Loss was Sunday evening. I was still up a bit after that for the year. I think the Indiana fever will be a force to be reckoned with once the team figures out all the little nuances of each player and works as a team much like the UConn Husky girls do. Kaitlyn Clark has already done wonders for the WNBA and of course is already a multimillionaire between endorsement and other things

I’ve got tickets to see a rematch 6/10 between the Sun and Fever.
. Didn’t book last nights game soon enough. Off to Bizarro with the Mrs in a few hours. Have a good feeling about tonight’s play. Guess we will see. I have to remember….. you can’t count your chickens once they leave the roost. If you are old enough to remember that one, you either grew up on a farm, or from the Midwest, or are somewhere near my age
