Beautiful day, but the 2 1/2 hour ride home instead of the usual 62 minutes was not fun except for my Wendy’s wheel brake. Guess I should say wheel break.

Short coin $5 machine quad was painful. Another trip wasted.

Satisfactory Saturday. I won $15 on my $30 Resorts BP. An executive set up a chair near the $5 VP to monitor some reader on the wall three feet away. It made me uncomfortable, so I hit the lower level dollar machines. Lost another $10. Train jitney. I got discount jitney tickets at a store. Off to Harrah’s after a long wait. Pretty quick max quad Kings. The adjacent machine was good too. Sports book lounging. Long jitney wait back to Resorts. Net Day: +$127. 52 TCs.

I did not anticipate the added activity around my machine at 11 AM and I was rattled. Next time I will squeeze in a few more hands before leaving. I break even without the merciful quad. I narrowly escaped yet another wasted trip.

Why do you let things like what's going on "around my machine" rattle you? When I play, I focus on the machine and unless someone falls into my lap, I don't see it.

It was just so bizarre that she would pull up a chair at this wall contraption, on a Saturday morning no less. I can at least anticipate this jarring behavior now that I’ve experienced it and I will just brush her off.

Scuffling Saturday. I won $30 on my $30 Resorts BP FP, then another $15. Train jitney to midtown, jitney shuttle to Harrah’s. A premium quad came quickly. Fifty minutes later, a vanilla quad on the adjacent machine. Both were unhappy events caught short. I did win $20 back at Resorts. Net Day: -$60. 165 TCs.

No 8/5 BP? Bizarro pulled theirs about 15 years ago.
