When you watch some of those YouTube VP "experts" playing, watch the remaining cash balance carefully from one deal to the next. If it jumps wildly in amount, it mean the VP "expert" is chopping periods of dead hands from the video and trying to make it look like his winning hands came closer together. The final product, lasting maybe 35 or 40 minutes, can originate from perhaps as much as 4 or 5 hours of feeding cash into the machine. As one You Tuber said, it's the total number of viewers for the ads, not the total amount of casino winnings!
One You Tuber that I'm aware of has maybe one video posted for every 25 trips to the casino. That says it all.

Updating the above:
I notice that the Slot Massacre video poker genius hasn't posted any new videos for quite a while. Maybe he got to a point where he could not sustain his losses anymore, or his YouTube revenue did not cover those losses.
Even the very best VP gurus cannot beat the odds over time. Casinos put a lot of resources into compiling and offering games and pay tables that allow occasional nice (addictive) wins. But over time all games *must* be profitable to the casino --- no exceptions. The ability to upload a video or write a book does not also automatically give someone the magical ability to beat unbeatable odds over time.
If a so-called VP genius is selling VP informational products or trying to get viewers for VP YouTube videos, ask yourself this: Why, if he can beat the casino, is he broadcasting it? Why not take that wonderful secret and disguise it as much as possible and simply rake in the money from VP wins, as quietly as possible? If I could figure out how to successfully rob banks, that's what I would do, not write books about it or upload YouTube bank robbery videos.
