Re: The Path
Sorry there was a next time. Yesterday started off well. I won $30 from $25 Caesars FP and even won craps on a five point hit. The employee, a ditzy lady, neglected to pay me. I had to slap the felt table three times to get her attention. I returned to VP, where I sensed a quad was imminent. Unfortunately, one morbidly obese man who needed a scooter was two seats away. He kept yammering to me even though I wear enormous headphones. He played one coin and bugged waitresses for drinks, of course. Eventually, I started playing one coin after a losing streak. I got a quad and lost $11 by returning. Lunch upstairs. I returned to dollar play and busted. Long ATM walk for $100. I then won $17 at Bally's fifty level JOB. But I was spooked by what may follow and returned to Caesars for dollar play. Disastrous decision. I lost $90. Net with trip cost -$130. Next time $60 ATM and play quarters.

Splendid Sunday. I won $13 with $25 Caesars FP. Furious with chump change, I ran to the opposite side of the bank. $25, then $19. Then 9s 10s Js Qs. I hesitated for forty seconds before drawing Ks. Party complete for $62.50. I left with $81.50. As usual, I quit VP for the day upon a SF or RF. Must leave town elated after rare hits. I hit my $25 table FP with a quick craps eleven. Thrilled that I gave Caesars another chance. Lunch upstairs. Off to Resorts for my Flip Flop game with two player cards. Six dollar images on a tile board of thirty six wins $2M. I usually get six Sorry tiles on both cards and leave. Today my first five tiles were dollars. I was incredulous. My sixth was Sorry. I picked up a straw hat from the Promotions booth and left. A jackpot windfall would have landed me in severe legal difficulty, as it was with a found card. Back at Caesars, I had a nice shot from my lovely server. Net +$85. I passed a lady just as she hit a $1500 slots jackpot. She called her friend on a flip phone, held it close to the machine and said, "Hear all the bells? I won $1500." I'm thinking she'll keep the burner phone.

You are using a stranger's lost players card? I bet they are thrilled with you swiping their card at the kiosk. That probably triggers a no play gaming day for them and lowers their ADT/mailers. Shady.

Jubilant July! Hang on to your cards. Winner at three casinos. I won $35 from $25 Caesars FP, gave back $15 and hit craps. Pit boss threw shade on my Borgata tee to stick gal. I promptly won $25 on an eleven and told her that I was off to the gift shop for a Caesars version. She chortled. $1,077 Progressive. At Resorts, I won a knapsack in their cool promo game. Borgata time! I won $25 at the bar. It should have been $50, but I was cautiously playing quarters. Big mistake, played it too safe. Nice drink soothed my regret. My new M Life card looks way cool. Net +$50. I left town for evening event back home before the usual bankroll tragedy could arise. Reporting from the sunny shore, this is FAA.

Bloody Sunday. I won $33 from $25 Caesars FP, which I gave back. I lost $25 table FP on snake eyes. I was determined to turn $20 into $40 at dollar JOB. I did, but then lost the $20. Lunch upstairs. At Resorts, my promo luck continued with a sunglasses win. Borgata time. I turned into a pumpkin. The quarter machines were all taken, given the holiday weekend and the FP promo. Annihilated on dollar JOB, losing $73. Net -$93. Well, the loss was double digits, which was a goal. No ATM desperation. The ride home was surprisingly pleasant and quick. I should have abandoned the Borgata side trip and am considering cutting up my new card. It's just such a frustrating casino. I feel jinxed. I will be back in the fall for their amazing football promo. Meanwhile, I took the card out of my active rotation. Designated For Assignment. The assignment is football promo.

Satisfying Sat. Caesars JOB Progressive at $1,001. I decided to bypass and gamble on dollar JOB. $25 FP hit $39, then I cashed out. I lost $25 table FP. Eight point okay, but I still rolled seven.
I tried Bally's. Awful decision. -$50 among three quarter machines. ATM and Resorts, where I lost on both promo attempts. At Harrah's, luck prevailed. I won $70 on dollar JOB. Just discover the one machine on bank that lets you play and ride it. No time for lunch. I miss all the deals, but discretion suggests getting the hell home before disaster. I needed ATM just to erase the Bally's bust. Reporting from Humidity HQ, this is FAA.

Weekend wrap. Soporific Saturday. I won $25 from $25 Caesars FP, but gave back $20 chasing a quad. Regular had left a machine and I took over. He stared daggers into my back forever. I asked him if he was waiting for a machine. He claimed to be watching the CET infomercials on the overhead screen and left. It was so uncomfortable. I won $25 table FP on a five point craps hit. Harrah's lunch. I played dollar JOB. Bad idea. I lost $7 and had to make a $6 ATM visit to achieve that. Net -$13.
Successful Sunday. I won $40 from $25 Caesars FP. I won $25 table FP on another five point hit. I won another $17 along the way. Net +$62. Pretty boring, but at least it wasn't a second consecutive fruitless trip. Woman behind me won $1,294 Ultimate X. She kept playing after the attendant left. What can you do at this point? Progressive was $1,031 yesterday. I left it today at $1,065. Amazed that it did not turn over with the city's huge attendance influx this weekend. Bank is tight as all hell. I played way too conservatively this weekend. I guaranteed myself an overall win, but what a snoozefest. Bored but solvent on the shore.

My worst day in quite a while. Five quads worth $112.50: $25, $25, $25, $18.75, $18.75. Net loss with trip cost: $260. I won $36 with $25 Bally's FP. I lost $25 table FP, five to seven craps. At Resorts, I won my second hat of the season, a nice gray cowboy style added to their tan model. At Caesars, I won $67 and went to lunch. The problem is I returned. Dollar disaster, then a $140 ATM trip, also squandered. As stated on another thread, I must only play .25/.50/1.00 machines. They really keep me out of harm's way. Progressive went from $1,249 to $1,262. We were playing like our lives depended on hitting. Three Asian ladies had a team on the other side. I gave up after hitting a quad but still lost $25 on mine. Yikes. Okay, time for the usual evisceration. The coroner's report will read, "Death by dollars."
