Not to be picky, but the picture shows held four and drew one, not three and two. Congrats in any case.
Easy fix, thank yah!

Decided to mess around this session and jumped around. Started with my old adversary 10/6 DDB and hit the bitter sweet aces with 5 kicker. Was up +$150 on the game and decided to play some triple play ugly deuces .25c and flopped three deuces with AK of diamonds. Did the right play and saved it for 375 quarters, but man I wanted to save the deuces and go for it. Since I was messing around maybe I should of done it, who knows. Cashed out of triple play +$52.25 and made the bad decision to play .25c single line triple double bonus but the good news to only risk my $50 in points. So just lost the $50 in points. So all in all, up $200 for this one. Cheers.

Nothing like a good video poker beating to let you know your alive. Like a kick in the gut, it humbles you, makes you human. Just didn't go my way tonight as I decide to take about half the royal and take a semi-pot shot on .50c single line NSUD. NSUD still likes to remind me that it is my foe as after a fairly lengthy battle, took -$400. Not to be outdone, made the error to put in $100 on loose deuce single line quarters to see if I could pull a lucky deuce out of the hat. Should of known better as it takes the 100 faster than a speeding bullet. So, a total of -$500 for this one.
Unfortunate, but I guess I was due for a beating. On to the next.
Cheers

Decided to have some fun and play triple play quarter ugly deuces. More lines is fun, interesting things can happen, but the variance triples. We got fortunate here. I started with $500, almost right away was up to $650 and started the slow downward grind to almost $100. Then caught a flopped Royal with deuce, stayed around the $250 mark when I finally flopped three deuces for the first time amazingly enough after over thousands of spins. Saved them, hit the button, and hit the miracle not one quad deuce but two quad deuces and called it. Up +$260 for this one...onward and upwards.
Cheers

Made the decision to put in a short session with low bankroll. Generally speaking, vp is a volatile game and the less bankroll, more likely to go to zero. Thus, my session roll of $100 this time disappeared quickly and no time to keep up the grind. So -$100 and a reminder why I prefer to have some roll and time to put in a vp session.

Tonight's session I started out on 10/6 .25c DDB. Got a luck flop of 43333 and cashed out up +200. Went to .25c ugly deuces triple play and went down fairly quickly until finally hitting the deuces and ended up cashing out +$5...then finished the session on .25c full pay deuces and did not hit the deuces but a lot of 5 of a kinds and royals with deuce. Ended up cashing out of that +$50. So a total of +$255 for this one. On to the next.
Cheers!

Took a bath tonight. Started allright on 10/6 DDB. Hit Aces no kicker and one other quad. Cashed out $100. But like they say, when you keep playing with fire...sooner or later, you get burned.
Went to the triple play deuces and took that hundred plus another four. So down $400, decided to take $300 more and go back to 10/6 DDB...didn't hit a single quad. Momma said there will be days like this.
So -$700 for this one.
Will take a brief time out to heal from this one and get back on the horse again soon.
Cheers

I had my first taste of how bad DDB can get last weekend - I musta lost like $1,200 or so on single line 25c. I got no aces, i think 2 or 3 quad 2/3/4, but no kicker, and then just a handful of other quads, and that's it. DDB is such a money suck.

Thankfully I hit a royal playing DW, so that took the sting out of it a little, but man, I think I'm done with DDB completely.

Took another minus tonight as the vp gods continue to punish me for my upswing run good earlier. -$300. Flopped a few trip deuce, no fourth. And flopped one 4 to a Royal with deuce and made the right play and kept it all but so tempted to draw one card. So, there it is. What a difference a few sessions can make. On to the next.
Cheers
PS I used to play DDB 10/6 almost solely. The beginning of this thread was focused a lot on it. But the variance will sooner or later hit you in the nuts for sure. Triple double bonus more so. Fun games and great when your hot...but how often does one hit the aces with kicker or Royal? Not that often. So tough games, but interestingly, the most popular with people. Likely due to the many jackpot hands. Bottom line is, to each their own. I like variety but lately have been mostly sticking to the wild card games.
