I believe Dreamcard is near the valet entrance nearby Anthony's/Jayde restaurant and the table games.

I was briefly at M last week, using up free play.
There is a bank of three Dreamcard machines near the deli entrance from the parking lot.
It was mid=afternoon and all three machines were occupied.
But, once again, noticed that the casino was not as busy as I recall it used to be in previous years.

Lots of people picking up their "free" gift, which on that day was a wine decanter, a cheap looking glass thing that looked like a flowers vase.

There has been a major change in how the point multiplier system works at the M. Previously, you could activate your multiplier any time during the day, and all points earned in that day would be multiplied. The extra points would be added to your account some time the next morning.

Now, only points earned after the multiplier is activated are affected. So, if you want the full benefit of the multiplier, make your first stop in the morning at a kiosk and activate it.

A significant benefit of this change is that the points are multiplied as you earn them. They are in your account immediately.

For people departing early in the morning, this is particularly helpful, as all points earned during a visit can be cashed out the previous evening.

Clarification: The only "full benefit of the multiplier" is simply that you earn NO multiplier UNLESS you swipe first.

In addition, be careful about keeping track of your point total to earn a free buffet that day. Because the multiplied points are in your account immediately, your point total for the buffet is not correctly displayed. I always take my card out, wait, and then re-insert the card to get an accurate "points earned that day" to get the free buffet.

My point multiplier is two. I do not find it difficult to divide my points by two to determine my progress towards the free buffet.

How did you find out about the new system? Had we not been forewarned about it by a friend, we surely would have lost some points, as our normal pattern had been to play awhile, and then activate the multiplier on the way to lunch or dinner.

When the new system started, M had Players Club Reps standing next to all the kiosk locations, telling people to swipe their cards as they entered. There were also large signs alerting players to swipe before playing.

My VP multiplier varies between 2X and 3X. Either way, I didn't realize the multiplier took effect immediately - - hence, the removing my card and re-inserting it to discover I earned less than I thought that day for earning a buffet.

It's not that big a deal now, but the fact is, in my opinion, that they could have done a little bit more to ensure players were, indeed, informed of the change. None of the signage was located where a person entering the casino from the hotel would see it.

I am now home and my October-November mailer is here. It does emphasize the need to activate before playing.

So, I received a mailer from M last week, that changes the rules yet again. Can't find that mailer now, so if anyone else got it, please post, but I think it said that we won't need to swipe card first. ???

Based on my most recent mailer, it appears they have reverted to the previous system. You can activate the point multiplier any time during the day and all points for the day will be multiplied. But, you have to wait until the following day for your account to be adjusted.

I can't imagine that it would be a monumental task to create a computer programme that would allow for multiplier activation any time during the day, with instant retroactive account adjustment and then ongoing point accumulation according to the multiplier.
