I am starting to think FAA bets more than he lets on. My local casino does not give near that amount of free play.

No, I think FAA bets like he says he does. But, he catches some sort of bus ride to the casino for $X, but the casinos give him $25 machine FP and a $25 table bet. He used to say in his reports something like I netted $21 after trip costs.
Sounds like a good play - pay for a ride, get a FP "rebate", then bang away all day at a full-pay 9/6 JOB with a progressive and some sort of players card benefits (though likely minimal).

If this is what he does, he gets to enjoy VP for practically nothing. 99% of the players in America would jump at that deal. These days walking out of a casino even is winning.pokerpokerpoker wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 4:19 pmSounds like a good play - pay for a ride, get a FP "rebate", then bang away all day at a full-pay 9/6 JOB with a progressive and some sort of players card benefits (though likely minimal).

Satisfactory Sunday. I won $23 from Caesars dollar JOB, and got it to $80 in session. Max quarter quad deuces! I lost table on eight to seven craps. Muffins and three hour sports lounge. Session two bust. ATM sprint and on tilt. Max dollar quad. Net Day: +$10. So much for the dream. 72 TCs. Jackpot: $2,000 quad Aces kicker, while I was losing AM. I expressed my frustration; stalked off. He understood, as he kept on winning his lucky tail off post hit.

"I expressed my frustration; stalked off."
Says it all.
I tried reading FAA's post on a more granular level.

Sad Saturday. I won $25 on $25 Caesars quarter JOB FP. $1,002 Progressive. I lost $25 table FP, rolling nine to seven craps. Dollar play a killer. Net Day: -$94. 47 TCs. A bad deal. Lucky to salvage just a double digit loss day.

Sad Sunday. I won $10 on Caesars dollar JOB FP. I lost $25 table FP, rolling eight to seven craps. I tried Bally's and hit a quad at noon, $19 BP. Another $19 quad in JOB at 2:30 at Caesars. Bust/ATM. $75 JOB quad a bit later. Net Day: -$73. 93 TCs, all worthless. Quads came ahead of schedule, but barely effective. I was -$12 at Bally's despite the quad. Terrible when even three quads cannot offset losses.

Sad Sunday. I won $14 on $25 Caesars dollar JOB FP. Bust. I won $25 table FP on a four point hit. Early ATM visit. I hit a $19 quad. Progressive $1,310 and $1,326 when I left. Over 100%. This is astonishing. I must make checking it my priority upon arrival. Sports book lounge NFL. Made $10 before leaving. Net Day: -$109. 80 TCs.

Satisfactory Sunday. I won $60 from $25 Caesars FP, with a max quad on my second hand for $31.25 I won the rest on dollar on the $15 unused FP. I won $25 table FP on a seven craps hit. I then hit Bally's, losing $45 on one machine before a $62.50 max quad bailout. Sports book packed, so I chose another Caesars session. I lost $165 before a $125 dealt max Queens quad bailout. $1,070 Progressive. 74 TCs plus maybe 6 Bally's TCs. Net Day: +$47. Poor for quads at all play levels, quads at two casinos and a craps win. Jackpot: $1,200 Ultimate X in HL room, just enough for W2 trigger.

Sad Sunday. I won $20 from Caesars quarter JOB FP. I hit a two coin quad, which I also did at Bally's. I lost $25 table FP on eight to seven craps. Played dollar JOB & BP. Bust, ATM. Same result. Net Day: -$330. Progressive $1,025. 77 TCs. Regrettable trip. Maybe football wagers until January. Break even on two and its three hours of entertainment.
