Just got through watching the trump virus presser / trump rally. I like the fact that immediately after reputable news channels like CNN have fact checkers. Most everything trump says is an attempt to rewrite history in particular in regards to testing. He has uttered so many lies and mistruths. He still could not answer the question about who said we did too much testing. No credibility. Spin - spin - spin. Almost everything he said was a lie or an embellishment. Does anyone know of a doctor out there that thinks we are doing too much testing? On top of that at least half of the tests trump brags about take at least a week to hear back on. Another poor performance by trump. If he was smart he would let the medical experts conduct these briefings. They are the ones that know what they are talking about and give us all a more truthful picture of what is really going on with what is now the trump virus.

While you were originally scared of more SCOTUS appointments by President Trump you are now not so scared?

I’m not a liberal so why would that scare me? Not the biggest Trump fan because he’s a crazy at times but I’ve enjoyed the show he has created with the liberals.

tech, i pay little attention to the trump haters and never trumpers. they made their decision, long ago. i am interested in results and don't care if the person who delivers acceptable results is a narcissist or exaggerates. i want results;

-anybody remember ISIS? the problem obama brought us by pulling all troops out of iraq. not to worry, a powerful usa military was unleashed by trump. remember those bodies on crosses? sickening!
-trump got many NATO members to increase their payments, closer to agreed upon percentages. did some european feathers get ruffled, so what. they are he one's being protected. glad he is pulling troops out of germany.
-i remember record or near record employment levels for every group in america, before chinese virus hit. no dem program ever did as much for minorities as trump did.
-dems prefer minorities, especially blacks, be dependent on the government. makes them easy to control and get votes. trump helped them get 'unleashed' from dependency. he got them jobs and income!
-he promised to appoint scotus judges who followed the constitution and he delivered.
-he got hundreds of judges approved for other courts.
-he stopped the caravans of illegals coming into the country.
-he has built/repaired many miles of border walls.
-he built up the military and has not gotten america into any additional conflicts, that i can recall.
-he has and continues to reduce america military involvement overseas.
-he has no interest in getting america involved in conflicts. he does not enjoy seeing destruction, he enjoys building/growing.
-he has brought attention to the communist chinese rulers, who steal america's companies/jobs/trade-medical-science-military secrets. he reminds everyone, that they sent the world the pandemic.
-he supported police and law/order. dems support mobs, looters, anarchists, destruction.

millions of americans did not approve of the policies or direction that obama was taking the country. republicans tried to slow down some of his plans. obama lied about benghazi and obamacare.

but, what has taken place over the last four years against trump is stunning. the false accusations, including russian collusion, the investigations, impeachment hearings, all endorsed by the majority of the media, have never been done before. conservatives will not soon forget.

The best we can hope for in the fall is the lure of so called free stuff and Money for Nothing will not rule the voting booth. I really don’t like to say this and certainly don’t want to put myself on a pedestal above anyone, but I am afraid most Americans cannot even see their own shoelaces when they peer down at their feet.

Unfortunately Olds both dems and reps are guilty as charged for playing santa claus during election time. They are both also guilty as charged for their nonstop efforts to get into the trough for both themselves and their biggest donors and supporters. Additionally when it is time to vote themselves a pay raise it sails right through and there is not a thing you or I can do about it.

I remember when the book Government Waste from A to Z came out decades ago. Instead of curtailing spending and trying to bring our debt under control, both d's and r's have ramped up their spending programs while at the same time coming up with more and more creative ways to tax us at every level. Meanwhile the debt continues to grow. If you are a republican it is the democrats fault. If you are a democrat it is the republican fault.

If you are a moderate social fiscal conservative like I am there is not a thing you can do about it but scratch your head and wonder how much longer it will be until the bubble bursts. At some point something has to give. Because of the crisis we are going through and the lack of bringing it to a quick resolution regardless of whose fault it is, we are rapidly reaching a point where the stock market bubble is going to burst. Why is the stock market continuing to go up? Probably because the best you can get with CDs is about one percent. If you go with bonds you still have the risk of the underlying company of municipality going broke and losing your money there. Even preferred stocks are not without risk.

We have some interesting times ahead of us. Hopefully we will emerge from this mess we are in with our republic in tact and not drift into an authoritarian type of government. We are a strong country but I don't think people realize at the same time how fragile we are at the same time.

Watching the Axios interview, trump seems incredibly sincere in saying the us is leading the world in the corona virus. Could it be that his staff is feeding him these garbage stats and he genuinely doesn't know the difference? We are doing better than the world, and we are doing better than Europe?
It's astonishing that anyone could watch that interview and then worry about Joe Bidens mental health.
