If only I had discipline to bail on a hot machine on a 5-10% decline on the highest credits in one.

This is a great rule of thumb. You got the theory, but lack the execution. I usually don't get out until a 67% decline from its apex! We can't keep taking these reckless downhill rides. We're pretty damn slow on the uptake. We're too perplexed by the slide and can't process what's happening in real time: the Cold Cycle. Only later in retrospect do we shamefully trace the path of the carnage.

I am heading up to the sun now. Hope I can catch the rest of the travelers open on the radio. The Boston Red Sox swept the Yankees twice in June. The total number of six games ties The sweep the casino has on me the last six trips. I hope I can break the ice this time or at least melt it. It is hot enough outside to be able to do that. Let’s see if I can bring some of the heat into the casino. Looks like it will be mask wearing time again. I don’t like the numbers I am reading about fully vaccinated people with the Pfizer vaccine getting the Delta variant of Covid.

J&J all the way. The one and done panacea! At least that’s my hope. I got another Caesars beat down. Starting to get the idea. I don’t feel comfortable gambling at CET before 1:30 PM.

Trip number 7 was not a lucky number for me. I am seriously considering taking a break from vp and going back to craps. Downside is long standing times, sometimes nutty and or drunk players, or people trying to squeeze in on a hot roll. Upside is a 5 dollar table and 10 times free odds behind the pass line. And I thank the Big Guy upstairs every day for no smoking still in my casino. I can still Martingale Clone a craps game just by adding a 5 buck chip behind the line after every 7 out until a point hits. I think I would need a couple of grand to handle it properly though. I have seen players 7 out all the way around the table twice before a point hits. More than once too!!!

Care to monetize the loss for armchair quarterbacks? Misery loves company. It seems that the Sun has set given Olds Savings Time. I’m so disillusioned with Caesars that I won’t gamble going forward until I’ve done some objectively pleasurable experience beforehand. They can’t ruin my day/weekend in a ninety minute rout.

Olds, keep aware of your chip rack while at the dice table! A common grifter routine is to take some of your chips when u r distracted ! Yes the eye in the sky can sometimes pick this up. The key word is sometimes , also the casino is concerned a bit more about there money , not yours. just a tiny bit more concerned !!olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 6:32 pmTrip number 7 was not a lucky number for me. Thanks. Yes I know. I played craps regularly for many years before I retired. I know ecactly what you are talking about. In fact, about 25 years ago at Foxwoods ( used to keep green and black chips in my pocket) one of those scumbags tried to clip me before I had a chance to remove the few green chips from my tray. Caught him red handed and decked him on the spot. Nowdays, would probably be banned for good. Was lucky and back then the pit boss stuck up for me and Surveillance tape corroborated everything. They had been watching this character for a while, but I don’t think they had enough on him or he was too quick for them not sure. Anyway nowadays I already know from talking to higher ups at Mohegan sun that any kind of fight or altercation they don’t care about the circumstances both parties are thrown out. Had to bite my tongue more than once at Mohegan sun just to avoid that and I won’t bother you folks with the details, but it’s a casino so you can imagine. Nothing recently in the last five years or so. But I’ve seen a few instances even one or two in the lounge since then usually alcohol involved.

To answer FAA, let’s just say I am now officially behind the 8 ball for the year, but not by much. I think it is time to keep things to nickels or at most quarters.
