I assume the player was spinning at normal speed. If you quick-stopped your spins, it shouldn't take anywhere near 19 hours to trigger the 4x, afaik.

The player was mashing the button. And he got it 6 hours after I left. Ouch!

That sounds torturous. When I play a slot tourney, I'm ready for a break after 5 minutes of frantic button smashing. Can't imagine doing it around the clock.

What's the top possible speed in spins per hour? Must be less than I think. Only 3600 seconds in an hour, and each spin is probably longer than one second.

Based on stats posted elsewhere, frequency of the 4x bonus seems to be roughly 10k spins at the 75 cent bet. If you run bad by several standard deviations, I can understand the extreme duration.

I'll answer my own question. Watched a guy chasing a 3x with the meter at about 80 free games. According to my stopwatch, he was spinning faster than once per second. Bonuses probably go slower, but I think he could do 3000 spins in an hour.

I never timed the button mashers but you can only go as fast as the machine can go. Your figures are probably right.
