I've been playing video poker for..Well, since it was invented... and the most I had ever won in a single hand/screen was $4,250. I have no idea what's happening with my luck lately but not only did I hit for almost double that, I've hit for almost double that 3 weekends in a row! 3 separate $8,000 jackpots.
(I will admit that I had gotten in a hole and was betting waaay more than I normally would hoping for a miracle to get back to even or up some)

Your lucky streak is wonderful and I congratulate you!!! But to the casino it is your annual win-loss that counts. And I assure you, the figures don't lie --- over time, if you play very carefully and by the book, your actual winning will equal the advertised percentage. (Comps and prizes can increase it a little.)
But in the minds of 99% of players, "over time" is not a consideration --- it's what happened to me this past (day) (week) (month).
