At this morning's low, SPY was -2% almost. It surged all the way back to green before sliding a tad into the close. It looks like it wants to go up, and do you know what that means?

Bad beats.

I mentioned my FNHC which squeezed up to almost 70c intraday Monday. Now it's back to 0.20 and headed for a wipeout. I guess I was lucky for the opportunity to lighten up, but I didn't sell enough.

Still love it, but wanted to trim exposure after the run-up. Bid-ask was 7.45 - 7.48. Put in my sell order at 7.47 and the stock immediately crashed 10%. Probably would have executed at 7.46.

Same story same day with GDXJ, although it didn't reverse as hard.

Tomorrow: monthly non-farm payrolls.

A car wash with the windows open. Payrolls news was good, which is "bad" because it enables the Fed to hike.

QQQ is -1.5% on the news, gold miners -2%.

Edit: QQQ -2%, GDX -2.5%.

Sold half my SQQQ holding rest if we crash on CPI report next week. Sold to soon but I like to lock in profits. My account closing in on even for the year thanks to SQQQ

When the market has a big move for a stupid (in my opinion) reason, I trade the other side.

This morning I've added more T and VZ. Also DNB and YORW.

I'll add more TLT (or VGLT) if it drops another two bits.
