I dont think the RNG is aware of the time of day, although artificial intelligence may now be integrated into the RNG. Im not kidding !!
Careful AP, you risk being labeled a conspiracy theorist like me. Something tells me you wouldn't give a sheit either. :D
I am not overly concerned with what other people think. Maybe a little bit, an itsi bitsi tinny winny bit. Sounds like u met me before , lol. stop by Bizzar world and introduce yourself to the think tank !!

Went to the casino the other day for a very short session just so I could keep my players club card alive. Hadn't been there since last autumn. Ok, very limited play on one-line progressive DDB. No quads. New bar top machine. Lost my mini bankroll. The last couple of times I went, similar beginnings at this and another casino. Back in the day, very rare to start every session the same way. IMHO, the new machines I have played during the last18 plus months do not play like their predecessors. It's not just hitting quads. I will leave it at that.

Bill I see what your seeing as well. When a player like you, a limited player sees the play is off, IGT has a problem on there hands. Players just play even less then before. I am down to a handful of machines I trust at the casino I play. I hate playing defensive , I just want to see a good mix of cards not 8 out of 10 dead hands over and over.

Some will say that's to short of play to say that. It's that short play adds up over years of seeing the same thing.

The story I love to site is Ron Harris, Harris worked for the Nevada Gaming Commission in the 1990s
Harris had learned enough to realize that computers do not generate random events. It was said that a computer was excellent at doing exactly what it was told to do, but could not do anythng else, thus no random number generation.

IGT is telling everyone that the machines are random, but Harris and a buddy hit a 100k keno pot in AC and go to prison for it.

The bottom line we don't have a clue how or what these machines do, but we are smart enough to know the difference between old and new.

Astute observations. And I dont think they are windmills of the mind either. My hi IQ friend points out correctly that we can never be 100% certain that the games are fair. perhaps 99.9% with a repeating decimal over the 9. which is infinitely less than 100% I THINK. I smell wood burning ,lol !!

My next trip up will be an experiment on what we are talking about. There a few 25 year old nickel JOB machines that let me bet up to 40 nickels. If I can hold my own on those using the clone even with the bad pay table, without dud streaks of 30 or more hands appearing several times,I will have a better idea on what is going on. There is no way I should be losing this much money for 2023 on 99.54 JOB machines.

Yeah, that's at least a plan to cope vs. throwing money away on two trips. The -$400 dead as a door nail trip would have automatically deterred me. I can't even imagine the last horrific trip. When I abandon JOB, you know the party's over. What a bore. My quarter progressive machines are so beat up they look like Tyson victims in a carousel.

Yep. There’s something going on. I suspect nationwide. We will never know the full story. By the way, all of 2O23 has been like that for the most part. Somehow the Mrs with the inferior pay table machines is staying even or better.

While I am a limited player now for several reasons, this is definitely up there.

Olds, I am interested in hearing your report on playing the older machines at MS.

Ok will keep the gang advised. Probably not returning till next week. Hope to meet up with AP too. Finally got all of the taxes done and mailed in. Big relief just to get that done. Just went over hits on this thread. Only 2 Royals so far this year. Neither on JOB. Both were on older machines. One machine has been there since day one.
