I sold a fair amount of it recently and was ambivalent about it. It was for the best.

Sold most of my mortgage reits before they started to tank. They are struggling with office vacancies and other things Still have one of the biggest that’s in some trouble and had to cut their dividend. Blackstone. Like Warren, mostly cash till the dust clears if it even does. 15 percent stock and none in my IRAs. Continuing to ask myself, why do I keep holding Disney. Will probably sell off some for a tax loss before year end.

I got rid of Disney but everyone has a few stocks they are holding while watching it drop. I help Walgreens too long but eventually let it go. However I tend to sell too early rather than late. I swing trade a lot but many times after I sold they continue to go up. Such is life in the markets.

Walgreens is -75% over two years, -84% over five years! I presume you got buried in the rubble somewhere along the way. What an spectacular fall from grace. You figure it would be stable to the naked eye. Devil is in the details.

Yep. As Josh says in the show tonight, we may be able to swing trade SQQQ a lot this Sept. I’m going to try and catch a few with if if it drops back a bit.

FAA the problem I had with Walgreens is as it got cheaper I would buy the dips thinking the bottom was in. My mistake was perhaps I should have put a stop loss in and sold it much earlier. However I look at the totals at the end of the year and if I made enough all is good.

The stock I swing trade the most is ALPD. This stock goes up and down like 10% many days. I buy once it hits 4 dollars and sell when I get up 10 %. Today was my best day ever. I had 500 shares I bought between 4.00 down to 3.05 (yesterday) Today it went up 65% and I waited to sell because Invidia helped move the price up. I sold at 5.00 for my biggest gain yet. I bet I have traded this stock 30 times this year. It is heavily shorted and they play with the price. Has been my atm.

I am in Niagara Falls Canada at the Fallsview casino. Huge place but video poker odds are crap. Just in my room watching the fireworks. The have them every night during the summer. Free room and 50 in food comp and 40 free play. I come here about 6 times a year as I live 2 hours away.

Enjoy the trip. I’ll look into APLD. Costs nothing to look. 🙂. I think this is it. Anyway, no wonder it took off. Nvidia is backing them with 160m.
