This was 24 hours ago, pre-market:

I don't think we're even pretending there's a fundamental reason for this volatility.

What other bargains should I be looking at?

Just added to my BBBY, a little above 6. Consumer cyclicals are selling off, alongside tech.

I'm confused because stonks seem to be trading for recession, but the Fed is talking tough about holding the line on rates.

Some people cannot see it. Their TDS has clouded their vision.
People will differ in their assessments. You think he's done a lot of good things. I think he's a POS.
The economy is roaring back. At least you can see that part of it.
The economy is so roaring, we need 50-year mortgages and $2000 stimmy checks.
A hiccup or two may affect your investments but overall have you won or lost?
Lost. He's crashed the dollar by nearly 10% this year. And that's measured against the other debasing currencies. Versus real money (gold), the dollar is down 30%. I have to pay taxes as if my nominal gains are entirely real.

US stocks (VTI) are +17% ytd. That's lagging Europe (VGK [+30%]), Asia (VPL [+31%]), and the emerging markets (VWO [+27%]). But Trump's America is outperforming Indonesia and Qatar.

I've done well with my unconventionals (GDX +124%), so I suppose I can thank Donnie for that in a perverse way.
Takes time to clean up the mess created by Dumacrats and their POS supporters.
Some people still will not see it.
Finis.

IMO, bringing back manufacturing, chip making, drug making ( medicine) will be a huge win for us over time. It will take time though. We better get going on Rare Earth here too. I think he’s working on that as well. 👍

A huge win for the inflation rate.

Why do we have to step on the rake again? Central planning doesn't create prosperity (*except for politicians and their donors).

If a 10% government stake in Intel is good, why not 100%? Just have the government own and run the company. If 10% in Intel is good, why not 10% of every company?
