Re: Off to Nevada
Glad you are enjoying your trip OMT! I have recently had a semi dry run too of Deuces. Hopefully, they will come back in bunches. I have found that is what they usually do over the years. I know it is crazy, but sometimes in a super dry run on Deuces, I switch over to Joker Kings and more often than not hit 5 of a kind. If that happens, I switch back to Deuces. Like you said…..go figure…..

Three out of fifty on the royal draw is pretty good. Trip not too bad so far. Good luck rest of way.

I did not mention before that we each cashed in a touch over $500 worth of accumulated players points at the fFour Queens before leaving there. That helps our bottom line a bit.
Our departure was marred by one careless mistake by me, in that I left an important piece of paper (my 1042S IRS tax form from the Tropicana) in the room safe. Fortunately, we were able to telephone them and advise
them of that, security recovered it, and I was able to drive back in the morning to successfully retrieve it.
My play yesterday here at Rampart on 10 line 10c bonus poker was so-so, resulting in a small loss of $200 for the day.
What my wife did yesterday borders on the unbelievable. On the same machine where she did it in October, she was once again dealt the four aces playing 10 line 10c super aces, for a $2000 hit! She had the four aces several other times, and finished the day at plus $1800. That helps our bottom line a lot.
It's almost hard to believe, but what once felt like it an endless trip is now beginning its last day. Fingers crossed for a good one.

It sure is. When you consider the number of times you totally whiff on a 50 line draw,, one royal is good, two is a bonus, and three is almost unheard of. As I said, it saved the day for me.

Our final day of play at Rampart resulted in a minor plus for me ($200), and a similar loss for my wife. We played our normal games, 10 line 10c super aces for her, and bonus poker for me. She did hit a royal, and a couple of sets of aces, but these good hits couldn't totally make up for a lot of poor deals and results.
My win was due mainly to the fact that I apparently finally learned from my wife how to get dealt four aces. Not as spectacular as some other games, but pretty nice just the same.
I haven't fine tuned the numbers yet, but my preliminary thought is that, overall, she was down about $1800 for the trip, while I was ahead by a slightly less $1600. We are quite happy with that.
We flew back to Buffalo yesterday. Despite the approaching severe winter storm, we were able to arrive in Buffalo about a half hour or so ahead of schedule. I had kind of dreaded what we would have to deal with in terms of snow on our vehicle, but it wasn't all that bad, at all. It did take five or ten minutes at a 10 degree temperature. to clean it all off.
We stopped, as planned, at Seneca Niagara last night, and plan to stay here until tomorrow. There is a possibility that we will extend the stay by a day, depending on weather and road conditions.

Overall. nice Nevada trip results for the two of you, OMT. I'm glad you finally solved the riddle of getting quad aces, just have them dealt to you.
Best of luck at Seneca.
