Three bad Harrah’s Saturdays this year. Three strikes, you’re out. I will not return anytime soon. (Sundays no bargain either.) I get better pay tables at Resorts, the same tables I’ve long been accustomed to, full pay. Even if it is a lesser property, it’s still fun and I don’t feel like I am stranded in the middle of Nowhere, NJ. I will be very interested to see how this plan plays out.
History suggests this plan will play out with you moaning about not hitting quads on schedule and tossing your card under the boardwalk and vowing never to return... (TT)

Well, TT. The plan played out to perfection. I finally hit my hand pay last week at the "lesser property." I did return to Harrah's yesterday and was pleased to hit quad on schedule. Neighboring machines made the Cove sound like the Indy 500, but I at least did not lose there.

My last haircut was in 2024. Have to save somewhere with the absurd price of gas.

Scuffling Saturday. I won $25 on my $30 Resorts BP FP. Train shuttle. Club roll at bakery. Tony’s Baltimore Grill lunch. Boardwalk for St. Patrick’s Day parade. I heard it kicked off late from the north. Wasted an hour taking in scene on a coveted bench. Jitney to Resorts. I hit a small quad and vowed to max the next one, which I did a mere thirty five minutes later. It was even the same suit. Mirror image carbon copy rinse and repeat of last Saturday’s stasis. My free SPD bead necklace was ineffective. Net Day: -$95.

Satisfactory Saturday. I won $45 on my $30 Resorts BP FP. I got it to $70, down to $30 and hit the dollar machines. I gave back those funds and another $85. I hustled back to the fiver to catch a quick vanilla quad and catch up at 1-2 coins. Of course I caught quad deuces. Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall lunch and library. Another seventy minutes play resulted in -$40. Nearby Cleopatra machine hit twice in a half hour as I languished in limbo. Net Day: +$75.

Oh, well, ho-hum, life goes on. At least it paid for lunch and generous tip.
