How to FP

Post by FAA »

It felt good to make a $25 bet with my FP on Saturday. It was a push. But I felt like I was taking a shot at big money, so the trip has some added validation. Anyone else go baller level with free play?

Depends on the amount of free play but most like not. I would rather have 5 swings instead of 1.

Ditto, but one never knows.

Over time, the return from free play will equal the return on the game(s) you play it on. Betting big or small won't change that. What it does change is the variance. If you get free play frequently, its a personal choice whether to go for the big swing (higher variance) or to bet small for more spins (lower variance = steadier income).

I make most of my AP income online these days and free play is a big part of that. I take the steadier income every time.

Yeah. If you're an online player you don't even get the thrill of the brick and mortar spin. It's strictly a transactional experience, so take the steadier income. I'd just like to get the instant enjoyment on a cash out TITO with a full house or above.

I use mine on AP slots or picking off multipliers on UX games.

People leave a lot of multipliers at Bizarro. I used to play them, but found that I was way behind so I gave up. Just bad luck. I had better luck playing off an incomplete hand. One time about 20 years ago someone left a quarter short coin 4 to a Royal in Spades. It was 3 AM and nobody was around. After waiting a few minutes to see if someone was coming back to finish their game or maybe back from an ATM, I finished the hand. Up popped the other High Spade for 62.50.
