Re: The Path V
Sad Saturday. I won $42 FP on my $30 Resorts BP FP. I soon lost it and another $100 even with a small quad. Lunch at Youyi Hard Rock. I returned and did okay. I decided to return after a bathroom break. Machine was of course taken. I overreacted and promptly lost $200 on five dollar machines, which were okay in my morning attempt. Then I lost $200 on dollar BP. I may take a long AC break. Net Day: -$530.

Bummer! Ever think of just quarters the first half of your day and if no good, halves or dollars the second half? Only because, sometimes the longer you play, the quads seem to drop in eventually. You can even try it on the site here as an experiment. 7/5 BP is a tough game to beat over time. 8/5 better, but Bizarro yanked it

No. That should be my plan going forward. A nice long couple of hours with minimal financial impact. I made foolish decisions. Fools and their money are soon parted.

So far you've lost back $653.00 since your royal. That's about 17%. At this rate, it'll be nothing but a memory.

Yes. Time to morph into a quarter player or have a negative 2026. It’s just time to face the facts and let go of the HL rooms. I’m looking at an AC future of VP bars and hundred dollar loss trips. It’s the sobering reality. I have become too complacent and careless. I am absolutely reeling. This is a scared straight experience if I ever saw one. It’s like being visited by the Ghost of VP Future.

You played the $5.00 denomination machines because you've had a taste of success at the $1.00 denomination and you want to chase that maverick.
I've said before that you should also just pay attention to your play and not concern yourself with what other players do. Just because other players are playing at a higher denomination that you do, and being big ballers, don't compare yourself to them. A true gambler gets their rush from the gamble and risk, regardless of the denomination. Only foolish players play at denominations they should not be playing at because of ego. I guarantee that when you were playing at $5.00 denomination, it was fun and exciting for the first few hands but as time went on you started shaking your head and getting mad at yourself.
When I play Dream Card, Magic Deal, or whatever, at the .10 denomination level, hitting a royal is just as nice. Granted, you put more coin in your pocket hitting it at a higher denomination BUT, obviously, the losses at the higher denominations sting even more.
I still, as always, with you the best of luck/

Ditto! I will even play a 3 cent game at Bizarro if the situation warrants it. Like Ted says, it feels just as good to hit something at any denomination. It gives you the satisfaction of beating the casino at their own game so to speak. If you see me playing large denominations ( like Ted says should have no bearing on your play ) it is because I have either hit something and am tempting fate with some of the windfall, or am near the end of the bankroll I brought with me which I was prepared to lose ( worst case scenario ) if nothing good connected. Good luck as always and same wishes to all on the forum here. PS weather permitting as TT posted, I will probably be back for a rematch tomorrow or Monday. Game plan is quarters for the first several hours. Then decide after that. Another trip with the Mrs later in the week to give her a break from cooking errands etc. I do have my own bit of crazy thinking too. I feel the casino “ owes “ me another dealt set of quad Deuces in short order. Flawed thinking of course, so I may chase them, but it will be with quarters. Finally if you see me posting with bets less than 5 coins, it will be because Bizarro still has the luxury of offering me a few 98-99 percent games with 800 for bet one. ( 940 on Joker Kings ) Even a few at the .25 level and if I don’t mind 96-97 percent returns, on nickel games as well.
