You sign up for the players card at each individual casino player's club booth when you are in Vegas and they ask for ID, as drivers license, phone and  your e mail address, which is optional. You will have offers flooding your e mail in box if you provide it to them. I believe they issue two cards automatically in your name or you can ask.  However, log on to "slot club sign up bonuses" at the top of your computer and then click on ADVANTAGEPLAYER, at the top listing. Click on that to see what is available in bonuses in ABC order at all Vegas casinos. Time does not allow visiting ALL casinos in one trip! I made it to ten on our last trip, primarily because I was on a roll at Palms. This listing was updated 10-6-2008 so it should still be current by the time you land in Vegas. I believe you have the right idea. Sign up in your name this time and your wife's name on your next visit for her bonus and you could continue to play on one name card for amassing points. If any one has a different concept on this players card sign up, please post here. Note: you only get ONE Harrah's Reward sign up players card to use at all seven of their Vegas casinos including Harrah's, Bally's, Paris, Flamingo, Rio, Imperial Palace, Caesars AND includes Caesar WINDSOR (and some other Harrah's properties as in Tunica, Reno, AC). You no doubt already have MGM-MIRAGE card (because it is also good at MGM-DETROIT) and that covers NINE Vegas properties: Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, N Y, Luxor, Excalibur, Treasure Island, Monte Carlo (and some others away from Vegas) IF you sign up for a CLUB COAST card at GOLD COAST, ie, it is also the players card you use at The Orleans, Suncoast AND Sam's Town. These casinos are all listed on the back of the players card. Venetian and the new adjacent Palazzo are on the same CLUB GRAZIE card - same owners. There are five STATION casinos. In the past, we have enjoyed seeing three stand up comics at the Comedy Stop at the TROP. That is usually listed in those "what to do in Vegas magazines". One might have a buy one get one offer on Tues and another magazine with a buy one get one offer on Wed. Just an example of why to skim those magazines. Thanks for your input, vidopoker. Now you've done it, Mike! I am thinking it's about time for us to plan a trip to Vegas!

the club coast card is also now good at Sam's Town.

FYI, South Coast has not been South Coast for some time. It is South Point and no longer owned by Boyd Gaming.

Became Southpoint after Gaughan bought it from the Coast properties and Coasts merged with Boyds group. Don't know if thats good or bad?

Coast casinos became tighter with their VP just before the merger with Boyd. SouthPoint, when it became separate, continued this policy for awhile. In the meantime the other Coast properties started to loosen up after the merger. More recently SouthPoint as also put in some more player friendly paytables making them one of the best LV casinos for VP players.

Reaffirming Shadowman's comment, on my last trip to Vegas in June, I couldn't believe the paytables for vp Body had. I always stay at the orleans because they comp everything for me and generally don't play vp at the orleans b/c their vp is not so good and they don't have tdb. However, I went over to both the Gold Coast and the Suncoast and the best I could find at both places for tdb was 8/5. The indian casino I go to has better paytables than that!!

Vidopoker:  Orleans has TDB in multi denom.  They are near the back bar where they have live entertainment, unless they removed them since I was last there 2 months ago.  I do quite well at the Orleans and will be going back the end of this month.

Is this San Manuel you're referring to? Whats the TDB paytables there if you don't mind my asking? Most quarters TDB in Temecula are 8/5.

gumshoe:  i have been staying at the Orleans for the past few years once the Stardust closed and the free rooms transfered over. On my last visit and after being there quite a few times, i found ONE machine offering tdb and it was a triple play for 18 credits (it had some wheel spinning bonus or something). They keep remodeling the bars in that place so I will check again when i go in Mid November. The last time I was there they were also remodeling the way back of the casino where the club coast desk is and were adding some sort of food court.  Good luck to you when you go in a few weeks. And if you find any tdb, let me know where they are. I was almost positive they didn't have them though. By the way, by the bar right in the middle of the casino, they have 2 rows of 3 and 5 play machines with various games, none have tdb on them. Only could find it at Suncoast and Gold Coast.

ED: yup, talking about San Manuel. Their TDB machines are where i hit that $10,000 jackpot last month. I had them take a picture of the machine when i won and i just confirmed in the picture the paytables for tdb are 9/5. There are 5 machines offering tdb for 25 cents in the way back of the casino near the cashier's office. However, they are all 10 play. If you want triple play for tdb, you have to play at the 50 cent level. They have quite a few of those machines scattered around. There is one of the other side of the 5 10-play macines, 2 sets of them when you walk in the casino off to the far left and another few rows near the restaurant. I hate pechanga. I will never go back there. i lose every time i go there and their vp selection in the quarter level (at least the last time i was there) was poor and very tight machines.

I hate when the casinos hid the machines and make you search for them.

Incidently, when I was at the gold coast in june, i spent about 10 minutes trying to find a tbd machine that paid better than 8/5 but i gave up. I know people always say you have to look for the higher pay schedules b/c they hide them.  I ended up losing my ass on them before hitting a royal so probably broke even. I know i shouldn't have played that horrible pay schedule but was too lazy to go anywhere else b/c it was late and i had looked at so many machines to no avail. Then, the next day i went over to the suncoast and again played the 8/5 machines. shame on me again. put in about $400 on the machines and cashed out with $1,000 in about 20 minutes. go figure on a horrible pay schedule i'd win!

I think when i go to vegas next month, i am going to look at the el cortez. i think bob dancer was doing a class there a while back so maybe they still offer full pay tbd? or do any of you know of other places that offer it in town? prefer 5 play at quarter level but can live with 3 play at quarter level. maybe arizona charlies or the palms? i prefer not to play at the station casinos (or fiesta) b/c they don't offer cash back

Station casinos do offer cash back as of last Feb.,  Fiestas too. Only on new points earned though, not for old points. The Stations CB was $1/1000 points and Fiesta is $1/600 points when I was last there. Each point is 1$ on <100% machines and $4 on >100% machines.
