I am renaming this topic because every time I see it I'm hopeful there is another free coffee deal.
 
I should have put the date in the topic line.  My bad. 
 
There's a good way to get a free coffee at any time from the place with the green-and-beige pattern.   Wait outside (peeking through the window) until you see them tossing out the old grounds and starting up a new pot.  Then go in and order.  Having to wait while it brews gets you a free cup.
