Just back from my third trip to the Borgata this year.  I had hit
a $1,000 Royal in August so I went back to my "lucky" 25 cent
double-double bonus machine in the new section.  First day, was
down about $200 and was ready to call it a night with nearly no credits
left on the machine.

I was dealt 5 junk cards which I discarded.  You guessed it - the
five new cards were a Royal.   "Worst" Royal of the 6 I have
gotten.

Over the next 2 days hit one $500 (4 aces with a 2 kicker) and four
$200 4 of a kind hands.   A good trip with a 2 nights comp to
boot!

Playing at Palms in Vegas in December 2005. Was dealt a Royal playing .25 on a 50 hand machine. Nice $50,000 payout, after they opened the machine and checked everything 3x. I jokingly asked why they don't check the machines when I 'm losing money, but I won't complain.

Best feature was the automatic lock so I couldn't screw it up.

There are some Native American casinos that do not lock up when you are dealt a Royal Flush. It happened to me on a two dollar machine. It dealt the Royal and I had to hold each card.

my girlfriend and i got three royal flushes (though one was with a deuce) on a triple play double deuces bonus machine. we were dealt one card short of a royal flush, and then got it twice and a deuce for the third hand. we walked out of the casino $2000 richer and moved across the country.

Good for you!  I've seen people pull two royals that way, but it's never happened to me (grumping).

The most unusual hit I've ever seen on triple play was a guy playing DDB, who was dealt a pair of twos, and drew the other twos on EVERY line!  We looked at each other and said, "Huh?".  No kickers, though.

The machines at Tunica don't lock up on a dealt royal flush either I have been dealt two in my years of play and you check and double check before you push the deal button.
