I've always gambled at Sam's Town here in Vegas on NYE. However, they took out my favorite machines so now I will probably go to whatever casino has the best promotions.

i will be in laughlin on flight from 12/29-1-1. i am using up harrahs points plan to play at colorado belle fpdw only little at harrahs 50 play 5c 9/6 job.good likelyhood harrahs may file bankruptcy as they were unable to sell propertity as they went private equity and market fell apart. they have few ok games so if i lose comps thats no loss. it will be interesting in these times if casinos get rid of all playable games 99.5 or better with comps (slot club room food cash back) making vp unplayable. or they go other way and loosen up we will all see

I plan to swing by Greektown and then MGM GRAND DETROIT earlier in the day to play and pick up mailed bonus offers, weather permitting. We will probably be long gone by midnight because the expressways can get too crazy! The whole time, I will remember what fun we had at Paris last year and all the great decor, gifts, band and gourmet food they generously provided at their special party!

yes,i see in ac their are no comps for food, buffetts, etc.,except for rooms to get you there.i would be very careful nye as they might be trying to get the money back they've lost, rather then giving you a great deal in comps, for january.what harrahs is that one in that might go bankrupt, what state?

I respond to the same offer every year and get told they're sold out every year (local casino) so they always give me a very generous gourmet meal and suite to use at another time. I don't like to be out on NYE anyway, so this works for me.

no, going the week before but got a nice mailing for the orleans. 3 free nights 12/30/-01/01 and includes your choice of a afternoon or dinner party to attend (buffet or gourmet dinner, champagne and party favors).
