S-man,How did you know I was referring to rs and not some other posters?  I was trying hard to be non-specific here and let readers come to their own conclusions.I've tried to read the posts at freevpfree before but never seem to keep up with it enough to remember my password.A search through this forum though confirms your assertion as well about your prescient diagnosis.  In May 2007, there were some mentions by you of the disorder back in the babybubba era.  Maybe this was locked away in my subconscious somewhere when I came across the Web site. The peculiar thing to me is that some aspects of those strategies could be argued and debated civilly and coherently without malice, but that never seems to occur with any pop-up posters here.  Why is that?  Is NPD that prevalent in the population?  And could it be positively correlated with the belief in patterns, short-term play, or lack of belief in maximizing expected value?Message to no one in particular:  Your next mission (if you are out there searching for a new IP and screen name) is to come with a personality that can anonymously argue your position but does not suffer from this NP disorder...but, then I suppose that might only be possible from splitting up your psyche and discussions would then necessarily lead towards those of schizophrenia.  Oh well, it was worth a try.

NPD in various forms is quite prevalent. I think I saw an estimate of around 1 in 20. However, like other disorders it has a wide range of severity.

Short term strategies was the only thread I had been through on this site.  I've now had the time to go through this thread.  It's Deja Vu all over again.  I've seen this movie before-on FREEvpFREE. 
 
Rolanddudes posts in this thread are to eerily similar to posts the developer of ARTT made over and over again on FREEvpFREE.  The NPD traits are the same too. 
 
Many posts were made on FREEvpFREE about  NPD.   The developer of ARTT would never respond to any question anyone asked him about NPD.  He never even acknowledged that NPD existed.  He simply ignored it, as if it didn't exist.  He was asked direct questions about NPD and never, never, never responded.
 
The developer of ARTT was caught many times using aliases on FREEvpFREE.  One of the times he was caught was absolutely hilarious.  He had created an alias known as Aceshii and was carrying on a post exchange between himself and aceshii.  But he got his characters mixed up and was posting as himself under "aceshii" and as "aceshiii" under his own name.  It was absolutely hilarious when he discovered his error and tried to cover up his tracks!!!  I ROTFLMAO, ROTFLMAO, ROTFLMAO, ROTFLMAO!!!!!
 
My conclusion:  The developer of ARTT, rolanddude, and redleg are one and the same. 
 
Hey, rolanddude and redleg, do any one of you care to give us your takes on NPD.  Give us a few paragraphs on the subject.

most of us just want to share ideas and experiences of where the games with good paytables and places with comps. I for example like fpdw but i can only find it in 25c level and i play it within .10% of perfect play all the artt is nonsence. on a more constructive note do you know of sites that give out games with good paytables besides vpfree.com i also look for nice promotions (double pay royals ect) that would be more constructive.

Hey Mickey,I guess you, like shadowman, are too a doctor of psychology...My name is Joe Carter.  I live in Central Florida.  Born in Kentucky and still a Wildcat fan (although that gets me in trouble with the wife who was born and raised right here in Florida).  Both teams suck in basketball this year and are in the NIT woo hoo....I own a large music store "Showtime Music Center, Inc." and we cater to the retired adults in my community.  We specialize in RMM "Recreational Music Making" teaching only adult beginners to play guitar, keyboard, piano, etc......  They learn to play songs like "Margaritaville", "Danny Boy", "Music, Music, Music", and "America, the Beautiful" all within their first 4 to 5 weeks of lessons.I am a very outgoing guy with a beautiful wife and daughter.  I am cursed with a positive attitude that helped me through my 8 month long battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  I returned to work this past Monday.  There are about 500 people that are throwing me a party this Saturday at our local state park.  You, Mickey, are invited if you want to come.  Everyone would love to get a complete psychological evaluation from you.  Maybe you could read their palms too....you might be better at that. hehe!!All joking aside,  I am a real guy not someone's alias.  I have worked very hard throughout life to provide myself with a decent income and to surround myself with alot of great friends and family which I rely on almost daily to teach me and help me grow further.  (Narcissistic????)  Please!!!!If you still are not convinced you can ask Webman...I think he might be able to verify that I am who I say I am.  Or you can visit me on my  MySpace page at....   www.myspace.com/cooldaddyjoe   If you visit my site you can see pictures of me performing at Harrah's dueling pianos bar last year.  I started playing and singing and they brought out some Elton garb and put on me.  Got $90 in tips that day...all from a spur of the moment performance.  If you click on my pics tab...you will also see me with Many, Many friends having fun and relaxing etc.  (Narcissistic???)...  Every morning when I am finished admiring my chemo riddled body in the mirror ,  I go out into the world not thinking that I am better than anyone else... just ask any of my many, many, many friends and aquaintances.  I do respond strongly to alot of posters that throw out zingers and off the wall comments directed at me.  If you go back and look at all threads you will see that NOT ONCE did I instigate anything.  I only bite after I'm barked at!!!  I really hope that your judgement and analysis of other things in your life help you come up with better conclusions than you have displayed on the subject of aliases and who I am.  I am the ONLY guy here willing to disclose his REAL NAME, BUSINESS,  ETC...I am not here hiding behind screen names to argue my points.... Mickey, it seems likely that Joe Carter is a real person. Who exactly is posting as rolanddude can never be verified although it's pretty obvious to many of us.
 
Joe, as for NPD, that was an easy diagnosis. The more you try to defend Mr. ARTT the more your agenda becomes obvious ...
