I know VP is random, but...

Why do you play video poker? What is your favorite game and why?

John, let me also throw in my acknowledgements to you. What you do for your friend is terribly helpful and cuts your play down to probably 1/3 what you might normally get in. Least thats what happens to me when I spot for my lady friend who's too cheap to go buy herself a VP trainer. She's lucky I like her. That CD guy in Colorado is losing his sight too but I don't spot for him because I dont' like him.

Cd makes casinos provide brail machines for him to play.
And they let him park in the brail parking lot.

It's always nice to put things in perspective. There are 10 different ways to have a pair dealt. Since you fill in a pair once every 360 chances, you can expect 10*360 = 3600 draws to a pair between filling in this arrangement. Also, pairs occurs every 2.3 hands (IIRC) which means a total of over 8K hands on average between getting quads on a bookend pair (and that doesn't factor the times you would hold something else).

'Hope you all are having a perfect Father's Day! I was feeling super clever because quad 8s were dealt on 50 play to put me in first place...so far. Now SM comes along with these ten ways to have a pair dealt. I can only hope that I was not the only one counting pairs on my left hand fingers to verify his premise! I had to laugh at myself as it reminded me of a not so hot redneck joke of counting to ten, that has been making the rounds again and again. It would seem it's time for marie to get off the computer for awhile!

My buddy has had some funny things happen to him playing VP. Like, hitting a royal and not knowing it, he was getting ticked because the machine locked up and he didn't know why! Or, he sometimes picks the wrong denomination on multi-game machines, which works out great when he hits a big hand and thinks he is playing quarters, then finds out he picked $.50 or dollars.

John, Those are funny stories about your buddy but they happen to the rest of us with better eyesight, as well! My first dealt royal at Palms in hearts, three play, was confusing because the machine locked up and those hearts were a blaze of RED! "I don't get it, what did I do wrong? Oh, now I see!" HS! There are also times when I have been playing another denom than I intended. Or the wrong game, neglecting to switch to my game of preference before playing on that machine. Having mentioned this, I try harder not to let that happen often!

Ed, take all the nasty things I say to you in PM's and multiply that by 10 and you'll have some idea of how I treat you in those Gold chats.

But the one who REALLY lays into you over there is Marie.

cd, Take that back! You are so full of it no one believes you! You are being evil just because you have compared our scores on 50 play today. Maybe tomorrow will be your better day. I hope so, then you can go back to being nice guy! Where did I put that delete button? I'm just glad no one reads this stuff!
