It took 4 hrs instead of 2-2 1/2 on Friday night to get to AC. Checked in and off to Sultans Palace to play cashback. We were playing the $1 Pharoahs Fortune and got the bonus round-you have to pick tiles to see what # of spins and multiplier you will get. I got 19spins 4X mulitplier-pretty good picking! The machine retriggered 3X! We ended up with $4700. I know this is a lot of money (and we were really happy) but the majority of spins were no wins-we really expected to do better.
 
After that it was all downhill. I mean a STEADY bleeding where you think it cant go on like this its got to change. Well it didnt. Went to bed with much less of those winnings than we should have.
 
Saturday was also bad. Nothing on the $1 version of penny games-NOTHING! I dont think we got one bonus spin all day. Switched to $VP. We did pretty good. Got dealt 4 3's (600) pulled 4 4's (600) and we played a very little of $ single line ddb STP -got a 4tree but no multiplier. A losing day.
 
Sunday the same thing -a few small hits on the spin games and thats it. VP we got the 4 Aces for 1200 (thank goodness) to keep us going but it was pretty painful.
 
I did get called for the money madness machine-a plexiglass box you go into that has money blowing around and you keep what you catch.  They make you put on this tiny jumpsuit (embarrassing!) and goggles-you cant bend down or shove the money in the jumpsuit. You just hold it under one arm and try to catch the money with the other. I had a olt of bills but they were mostly 1's-but i walked away $239 richer than I started.
 
Saturday they had the blindside showing in the grand ballroom. You got to meet the guy the movie was about and have your pic taken and you got an autographed dvd. They gave out popcorn beverages and movie candy. EXCELLENT MOVIE! They also showed the Hurt Locker the next day but we watched it in the room instead. We couldnt understand what all the raves were about. Maybe its just us!'
We also saw Green Zone with Matt Damon-very good and 80"s hot tub time machine-funny.
 
So all in all you can tell we are losing when we watch 4 movies! A trip that started out so promising and ended up a dud monetarily. But we had a blast!
 
I also had a $200 comp for any of the nice restaurants so we went to Safari steakhouse. Very nice-excellent food.
