Hey mule, the extra 76,000 coins when the dealt royal (once in 649,740 plays) and a multiplier (29 times in 225 plays) both hit figures out to about 0.2154% in game EV.  Subtract the "normal" multiplier add-on, which I think is about 12,593 extra coins, and that still leaves you with 0.1797% extra EV for this feature alone...in addition to the "normal" impact of the double multipliers.I'm sure it has an even bigger impact on the variance.  I think I'll leave that for another day!
Thats not true.  Since in order for this 20x on all hands feature to be activated you have to be dealt a royal flush AND dealt a multiplier, it only occurs on 1/7th the number of hands.  Also the bonus amount isn't 76,000 credits since you are already getting at least 4000 times the multiplier.  So the effect of this bonus is much less.
Hey jc, If you re-read this and my previous post carefully, I think you will see we are saying the same thing.  My calcs did take into consideration that you needed to hit both a royal and a multiplier simultaneously.  I also took out the effects of a "normal" multiplier; in fact, I think I specifically said that.Where you said 1/7th (0.142857), I said 29/225 (0.128889).  One might be able to say something like 1/8th or 1/7.76th to get a little closer if you want "1" in the numerator. The probability of getting a multiplier is 1/15th on the deal + 1/15th on the draw minus 1/15 x 1/15, the chance of getting it on both.  You have to subtract that out to avoid double counting.  So that is 15/225 + 15/225 - 1/225 = 29/225.And the 76,000 credits that I referenced were extra credits from a 20x royal.  The average multiplier with a royal is 4.1482759, so that would yield 16,593.1 coins or 12,593.1 extra coins, which I subtracted out to get the extra EV.How do you get 4.1482759?  My presumption was that the 4.01 average advertised once every 15 hands on the help screen applied on both the deal and the draw.  Going back to our probability of a multiplier, we have14 / 225 x 4.01 on the deal, 14 / 225 x 4.01 on the draw, plus1 / 225 x 8.02 when you get both.  (The sum of these products is 0.534666667; then divide by the overall probability of a multiplier, 0.128888889, to get the average value of 4.1482759)In the earlier post, I asked Webman to confirm whether or not this presumption was correct, but due to my wordiness, he might not have seen it!Now, if the overall average is 4.01 instead of 4.1482759, the numbers would be slightly lower, but then 4.01 shouldn't be linked to "every 15 hands," but to every 7.76 hands. No matter what, this extra EV is not going to help very many players since at 800 hands per hour, on average it would take more than 3 years of full-time play, 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year.  And of course droughts might take quite a bit longer.Yes, I know that there are more than 50 weeks in a year, but you need a couple weeks a year to vacation and play golf!

I hope you guys figure this out because I plan to hit a 20x dealt royal before too long and I'd like to know how special it really is.

No calculations of odds necessary if you're just going to hit it anyway.  But you might have to calculate how you're going to spend all those winnings.  Dream big!

New2vp, that is correct that there is a 1 in 15 chance of a multiplier on the deal and also a 1 in 15 chance on the draw. The average multiplier in both cases is 4.01.

Also to clarify something I mentioned yesterday, when dealt a royal flush (win on all lines), if the multiplier is enabled (for any value) it will automatically switch to a 20x multiplier and auto-hold the win.

Not all dealt royals will be multiplied, but the ones that are will all be 20x wins.

Are you saying that player has a 2/15 chance at getting a 20X multiplier after a dealt royal?
