computer freeze

Is anyone else having trouble playing video poker due to the computer freezing up?  It happens to me all the time and I wonder if it is just my computer or the website?

Does it happen on all games, or one game in particular? Does the game eventually unfreeze or just lock up completely?

My experiences has been with the ad screens updating and causing the games to freeze.  On my newer PC it's only mildly annoying, but on my older P4 3.0 ghz it's very annoying.  Always happens when the ads are changing.
 
My take:  Java script or flash ads causing the computer to pause until they have finished, causing the flash based games to pause until it catches up.

i quit playing altogether, everytime i had a winning hand it would freeze and the game would fold my hand

My third session of the monthly contest froze this morning. I gave it about 5 hours to unfreeze but it never did. I could look at people's winning scores and move the screen up and down, so it wasn't my computer that froze, just the game screen. I'm sure glad I was losing anyway!

I have had the same problem with the game itself freezing. I know it's not the computer buecause like you everything else works. I wonder if they can do anything about this.

Same problem here. I'm logged in, can play everything except "all of a sudden" I can't play daily, weekly or monthly games. Just freezes.

I keep my thermostat low in the winter. Computer sometimes freezes, but I found out that a hair blow-dryer..set on 'low' sometimes fixes it. If your computer is fine...try it on your monitor screen.

A lot of issues reported last night, 11/04, on VP Chat. I was seeing minor freezes on both the contest games and the regular games. I never got completely kicked off, but I had to wait several seconds quite often for it to return. Running Windows 7, IE 11, and the new version of Adobe Flash that just downloaded , Version 15.0.0.189.

I think that I should get a 7 Star Tournament Achievement for sticking with it last night.
