A Year's Worth of Quads...

Post by spxChrome »

Last year using my cell phone I wrote down every quad I got.  I just been lazy but this past weekend I finally put the numbers together.
Before I post I will say I play 28% TDB, 60% DDB, 10% DDW, SDB  All single line.  2% on other games.  No matter the game I wrote the quad so even if I hit AAAA4 playing dueces it still went down as a AWAK.  My sway from basic strategy is I break up every FH that includes A,2,3,4, and when dealt garbage I hold any 2,3,4 over a single 10, 2 suited cards or 2 connectors unless to a royal.   So you would think the % would be favored towards the lower quads and face cards.

AWAK  = .96
2WAK = .72
3WAK = .36
4WAK =  1.68 - guess I favor single 4's over single 2/3 in junk hands

A = 8.68
2 = 5.44
3 = 2.71
4 = 5.04

5 = 6.72
6 = 9.92
7 = 8.08
8 = 8.96
9 = 13.72
10 = 7.72
J = 8.80
Q = 5.6
K =  4.92

I post this just for fun, but was surprised in the large variance between high paying hands and low paying hands, especially given the large collection.
