Silverton VP Question....
Made my first trip to Silverton over the weekend. Went specifically because VPfree shows that Silverton has 9/7 DB. I had printed out the VPfree sheet showing what
machines were located where. I could not find "any" 9/7. All the machines that are listed as 9/7 on VPfree are 9/6. Is this a mistake on VPfree or is Silveton furnishing them incorrect info.....or am I just all wet? Thanks for any reply(s).

What denominations did you check? Machines often display the last hand of a particular denomination or the last hand played. The paytable might not be the same for all denominations.

Yes--you are correct. Actually the machines were 8/5 at .5 & .10 cents then went to 9/6 at .25 and up. If they were only .25 and up they were 9/6. Not 9/7 at any denomination.

Thanks for any reply(s).If you're going to Vegas why settle for 9/7 when there's a ton of places with 10/7?

I do play 10/7 DB 99% of the time. I had never been to the Silverton so that's why I went. Since I was going to be there I decided to play a little VB. ...so I looked up to see what was available. VPfree shows 9/7.Now-there are not "tons" of 10/7 DB in Vegas. Yes there are places that have it and I think I know most if not all of them. There are none on the strip....quite a bit downtown....and some scattered around off strip. More and more of the off strip casinos with 10/7 are removing them from casinos. If you want to play 10/7 (which I do) you have to be willing to go to the extra time/distance to get where they are. 10/7 is fast becoming a vanishing machine

MarySB,
I would like to clear up this VPfree topic.
I hope that you mean that you used vpFREE2.com, because the vpFREE database is no longer being updated.
You have to understand what vpFREE2 is. The casino does not furnish them information. Why would they? vpFREE2 is a community-based resource. The site is maintained by a volunteer army of casino monitors. If the information listed in vpFREE2 is "incorrect", it usually means that it is out of date. Some monitors regularly visit their casinos to keep things up-to-date. It could be out of date because no monitor has visited the casino since the change took place. It could also mean that the monitor usually relies on change reports being sent in by users in order to maintain the database and nobody has sent in a change notice (complaint).
I did check the vpFREE2 listing for Silverton and it does show 9/7 DB.
If you see any information on the site that needs updating, "they" would like you to let them know. There is a "Send Update" tab available when looking at any casino's listing where your comment will be routed to the monitor.
If the casino did downgrade the machines from 9/7 to 9/6, they probably figured "Hey, if people are willing to play 9/7, why not see if they are willing to play 9/6?". As I would put it, "As long as the people keep playing 'em, they'll keep downgrading 'em".

Come on now. There are over 2 DOZEN casinos within a 20 minute drive of "The Strip" that have 10/7 DB-hardly "vanishing" with hundreds of machines. Be grateful. It is a 3000 mile trip for me to find one.

So what does that mean, that no one has ever hit a RF on a 10/7 machine?More a testament to people's willingness to play lousy machines.
