Re: Most recent Harrah's jackpots
Roveer- I am intrigued by your threads. Fantastic hits. Very nice. It would be really interesting to know what your profits have been over the past few months. I just started playing VP over the last 5 weeks. $1 denom - single line play. I basically feed $100 bills until I get what i am after - a jackpot of some sort I am estimating that I am up around 10k over the past 5 weeks. I am without a doubt hooked in a big way. Thankfully I am preoccupied with other things so that my trips to the casino are a treat. If I was less busy, I expect I might be playing too much and start losing. Anyway... seeing your big hits and knowing you are playing much more per hand than myself.... I am really curious just how much you are up over the last few months... winnings minus risk? None of my business..,. but again, I am amazed at how well I have been doing at the single line games and am considering playing multi lines like you have been.
Needless to say I have had a good run of winning sessions lately. I wasn't keeping good records until the last 2 trips, but now I am. As many will tell you, all those great hits and their W2G's costs lots of cash, and I've come to grips with the fact that at times the payback is a lot smaller than you would expect. I spent a lot of time (and money) this year honing my game and working on money management, timing, and most importantly, when to stop. These improvements and continual practice at my chosen game seem to have made a positive difference. While nothing can stop a bad run, I am doing everything I can to make sure I am playing and operating optimially to give me the best chances of coming away with more than I started. I'm still trying to get my head around the idea that between January and September of this year I have playinged 1,114,000.00 into Video poker machines at 60 dollars (or less) a clip. That's a LOT of video poker. Don't get me wrong, I'm reading some of Bob Dancers newsletters where he talks about 2 million dollar sessions (not years). Of course he's playing 100-500 dollar hands.
Roveer
Thanks for the reply. I think what I'll do is perhaps continue playing at the rate and risk i have been so that I can see a larger sample size of results. I've decided that if I bump up to your lvl of play - a few losing sessions in a row will chase me away for good. AT my current risk lvls I can take the hits and not be deterred. Best of luck in doing what you're doing. I started documenting last week as well. Good idea/

MilMont - Hello there! Congrats on your winnings so far! My wife and I have recently started playing video poker for the first time in our lives (normally I am a blackjack player) and we enjoy it very much. We have done a ton of research and practiced for hours on the computer. We have chosen to only play $1 9/6 single line Jacks or Better.
Are you playing one particular game or do you play multiple games?
Do you have an estimate of how many hands you've played up to this point? We have played 5,000 so far.

Great hits roveer...I love seeing the pictures you post. Are you playing at Harrah's in Vegas? I never have that kind of play there, although I have hit a few jackpots, and pay Uncle Sam his share. Thanks again for the interesting stories...

Congratulations roveer...Seeing those pictures is awesome. I have also had decent luck at Harrahs. The one I was playing at was in St.Louis, I can only afford the 25 cent single line version, but was playing a 9/6 Jacks or Better and got my first Royal, about 45 minutes later got another Royal Flush on a different machine in the same bank. Haven't been able to get a Royal since, but must say it was quite a thrill getting two of them in such short order.

millmont77,
One of the things we recommend is getting an annual Coin-In/Coin-out statement from the casinos you play as well as a Win/Loss statement. We find this a much better annual guide since it shows how much coin went into machines. Of course hitting means more money to play and usually increases CI/CO.

roveer,
You don't need me to pass luck on to you. I probably need to have you send some of your luck back to the rest of us. Keep up the great hits!!!

Hi Players...
Am back from 9 days in Vegas and Laughlin.. fun trip.. got about 20k on W2G's.. but in truth, I consider myself as a 'green' person and recycle by putting much of it back in the effort to get the big one.. did get one royal at Treasure Island and one at Harrahs.. most wins were DDB 2s, 3s, 4s and Aces with kickers on $1 triple play machine.. did find one Dream Card machine at Harrahs and one Extra Action.. did ok on Dream, but nothing much on the Ex action..
Took my daughter to Phantom and Jersey Boys, courtesy of Harrahs, great shows!!
So goes my once a year luxury vacation..
Hope you are all doing well..
