Theres one even bigger difference between us Bob. I dont have a problem stopping my posting or being 86ed, because I came here to understand vp better and offer my opinions and criticisms that "successful" people should be able to handle. But when the big cheese cant handle anything but praise and idolizing and desperately delivers an 11th hour ultimatum, count it as a victory over one of those nobodys whove help pay your bills all these years.

No, you have never tried to "understand vp better". All you do is spew out RS theory over and over again. One might actually think you were RS.

Before Im gone, Im again asking you to man up and invite me onto your show. I will at first allow you to denegrate my way of playing video poker, then the ratings will go through the roof as I show how a non-babyboomer 20-year junior who was never too selfish to have children, can put a sharpie in his place.

Why would anyone care what you say? Your comments here are silly and lack even the most rudimentary common sense. And, right up front you think you can "put a sharpie in his place". Not exactly a good self promotion to someone you think is a sharpie.

And one more request. Why dont you splain something that someone else has brought up several times over the years that would make a lot of sense to us little people if we saw a real explanation for a change.

Gee, I wonder who that "someone" might be. Could his initials be RS?

You complain when I say I (and my program) dont believe half of what you claim. So how is it you tell us you win hundreds of thousands from the casinos every year, then you jump onto the other side of the fence and tell us how much belt tightening is going on, you brag about your notoriety and how much you play and how high your slot club status is at the casinos you say you play at all the time, but none of them ever seem to have a problem with how much you apparently take them and their slot clubs for year after year? How do you splain that? You mean they just LET you take them for whatever you want?

This has been explained many times. Everyone knows the casinos have cut back but that doesn't mean there are no opportunities. It means it takes more effort. Casinos have also put more and more money into slot clubs. This also calls for a different approach. It's not just playing machines. Now, if you can't even figure out this obvious stuff why would anyone want you on a radio show? You clearly don't want to understand the facts, you just want to whine and complain.

Not going to happen. You are simply not an appropriate guest for the show. Our guests help people gamble intelligently. Your postings do not indicate you know anything about the subject. You may be successful in another field, but in this field your theories are off base. Bob The paragraph I quoted did imply you're leaving this forum. I hope you'll keep your word.

Yes, via either myself or the whining youre doing to the webman. But Id still like an intelligible answer to my query on how the casinos know you and your notoriety, they probably read all your bragging, they apparently keep getting it rubbed in their faces that they cant make money off of you, and yet they continue to allow you to beat them up. Why, some even pay you to train a whole new pack of BD's, just in case their profits start rising, I guess. Makes no sense, and when I run the scenario through my program it throws the whole thing out as lying with a purpose.

You really can do better than have an easily ticked off shadowman as a familiar.

Youre all about earning an income. My appearance on your show would bring in the listeners, and youd get kudos from the handicapped community as well. Id have two airmen along to keep the women away too.

I am very close to giving Webman the ultimatum of either you or me. Either you stop posting or I do.Bob
I hope you don't do that.   I like to read your thoughtful contributions to the forum. On the other hand, I sort of enjoy reading the material from backsider for its entertainment value.  You just never know how outlandish his next post will be.  Actually, in my mind, backsider is abbreviated to bs - need I say more?

[QUOTE=backsider]I'm not insulting him royal. Im just jealous. Capitalism is the only true way of starting out as a nobody and ending up as a somebody.

Open letter to Backsider:

Really? Calling somebody a nobody, after saying he is frequently wrong and inconsistent and you don't believe half the things he says --- are you sure none of that constitutes an insult?

If saying you're jealous means you respect what I am saying, why don't you just shut up and learn from people who know rather than continuously spouting your own idiotic theories? You are by far the biggest disruptive force on this site.

I am very close to giving Webman the ultimatum of either you or me. Either you stop posting or I do. If you can limit your postings to, say, once a week or so I won't have to do this. But posting as often as you do and as disruptively as you do is more aggravating than I wish to put up with.

There is no doubt in my mind that this site has a high percentage of recreational players and many don't care for my theories. That's fine. Being a successful gambler isn't easy and certainly isn't for everybody. But there is also no doubt in my mind that there are many on this site who are trying to learn to be better players and consider me one of the best sources of information out there. You continually get in the way of that process.

I've found almost nobody who respects or appreciates what you have to say.

Bob, your insight has a lot of value to the VP-playing community. While I may not always agree with you on some items, I will always listen to what you have to say, because you have been to places and seen things in the VP world that I have not, nor will I likely ever have the chance.

So, as they say, Bob, "sticks and stones" when it comes to a poster that cannot get a point across without making it a personal slam.

Stay with us..

I vote for Bob to stay. Before VPW and his columns  I was , as I learned, totally ignorant of this game.  I am a recreational player as I  am limited to 4 or 5 visits per year to a casino. With the knowledge I gained these visits, while not always profitable, are much less painful.

Dont worry people, Im asking the administrator to terminate me immediately. Youll still have BD here to brag about his doubtful wealth (really, how many aging babyboomers have to work and sell goods to make ends meet these days) you can still oooh & ahhh over his saying he just "held his losses" to $10,000, you can all still wonder what happened on his last radio show since that station can only be picked up by DXers with loop antennas mounted onto 40 foot poles, and my personal favorite, you can watch him let loose with any phoney baloney story he chooses to spin and backsider wont be there to spoil the fun.

You still can't understand that a $10,000 loss in one session is just that.  One session.  That is the core of your problem understanding what this game is all about. You get lucky once, you're a winner, Bob gets unlucky once, he's a loser.AMF
