Re: Oh-Oh machines disapearing
I've said it many times....casinos are trying yo get rid of video poker, or at least limit the number of machines to as low as possible,,,, Penny slots with all the fancy cool graphis and light shows and "Free" "Bonus" spins are immensely profitable in terms of profit margin, and best of all, the top win, or "JACKPOT" on a typical penny slot machine is peanuts, and it hardly ever happens! So casinos love this, they suck up people's money faster with these 1 cent larceny festivals of lights, and at the same time are exposed to very low or very little payouts (downside). It's absurd really, but given the desperation of casinos to always meet shareholder expectations, and given the STUPIDITY of the vast majority of gamblers, this is where the casino business is going.

It is hard to argue with what you see, Burglar. As I mentioned before, even in casinos that offer VP, I see a lot of the $1 denom versions restricting games to JOB and Bonus Poker - no DDB or TDB. I guess they are restricting their exposure to a big payout.
