Royalless streak continues

Post by olds442jetaway »

Up to 313,000 hands without a Royal now on the deal line. I am going to continue to update this on every trip until I break it. Maybe one of the head hanchos at Mohegan Sun will read this and hit the magic button... ...Got back just before the snow hit AM today and am still licking my wounds. This trip there were no other premium hands at all to even partially bail me out. To add insult to injury, I was dealt 4 ACES on the top line on Multi-Strike without the deuce on Double Bonus Deuces wild and couldn't complete the 5th ACE...OUCH!!

Here's my positive thoughts for your first Royal!

Sweet C and I were talking about how beautiful it must be to be at Mohegan or Foxwoods when snow is all over the trees/ground. Just for a visit not to live there during the winter - too cold for these old southern bones.

Too cold for these old northern bones too. Shoveling is really getting old. Especially when you have to take 8 or 9 steps to dump one shovelfull of snow because of the way the cars are jammed into the small driveway and narrow street. It is also fun when the plow goes by and buries you just as you think you are finishing up. I will say there was some beautiful scenery this morning and no wind for a change. Hard to enjoy it with all of the work though.
I've already met my tier 3 requirements for the spring cycle ( at great expense unfortunately ) so if you guys are coming up in the spring, let me know and we can meet up at Mohegan. At least you will be able to grab a shrimp cocktail and a drink or two or three in the lounge.

Just an update. 318,000 hands now. No Royal. Did hit 5 of a kind on Kings or better Joker poker, but it was on the bottom line on the nickel Multi-Strike machine. Not enough to put a dent in the losses for this trip unfortunately. And LL...I was thinking about the lady who always kept 3's. I held a pair of 3's and drew the other two with the joker...lol...

What does "on the deal line" mean?

That means if I was playing a multi line game, I may have caught a Royal on another line than the center deal line on spin poker or the bottom line on multi hand games. I am not counting those. On a single line game, it means on the initial dealt hand, I was not dealt a Royal and when I drew my cards I did not catch the Royal either. I want to keep these numbers relevant to the 40-43k or so average number of hands between hitting a Royal in the long run on games such as Draw poker, joker kings, deuces wild, etc. I am not counting any double down stud games without a Royal here since you have no opportunity to draw to one and the average is nearly 700k between Royals.

I've been jumping from casino to casino the past few weeks and having a pretty decent run playing my usual single line $2 denom DDB. I've hit (2) Royals, (1)Aces w kicker, (3) quad aces, (2) quad 2-3-4's w/kicker and (6) quad 2-3-4's, can't really remember how many other quads I hit. One of Royal's I hit was a one card draw for a jack of spades and the other one I held a king of diamonds off the deal and hit the other four for the royal. About the same thing happened to me last year so I'm expecting a losing streak to set in any minute now.

olds,
I'm imagining a dealt RF for you first RF or dealt RF on multi-hand.

Sounds good to me LL. As long as we are wishing the top line on the Multi-Strike would be good.
