Wife does the same with the Stinkin Rich slot. Usually hits the bonus pretty good. Much better than vp at least for her.

Another 7k hands up to 305k now, playing $1 9/6 progressive which was up to almost $7,000 so I was feeling pretty good going in. Knowing I was on a long dry streak and this bank of progressives usually hits around $5,300, I thought today may be my day. Wrong. Didn't even get 4 to it a single time on this trip. I did play the slots like I said I would. Hit the Red, White and Blue $5 machine for $800 and $400. Then played some $5 wheel of fortune spun the wheel twice cashed out $600. Put all of that in the VP plus some and nothing all I got was like 4 or 5 trash quads.

457.000 hands....can anyone believe this? I know spx can . Also caught no deuces quads this trip. The martingale clone helped a little, but not much this time.

466,000 hands representing a day and half of play. Mostly overnight where it is quiet and you have the place to yourself. Wife is off this week and at least she stayed even. No deuces quads and only one 4 to a Royal dealt. I think I am going to have to switch to Joker Kings with one coin in until I get one. At least it will pay 400 instead of 250 for a short coin game. This has to be some kind of record. I hope SPX gets his next trip. This is getting old faster than I am. On the plus side, had a great lunch and nice room with a great view of the River. Got to bed just about sunrise, so seeing that was another plus. Some unexpected free play and dining credit too and good coversation with all.

482,000 hands. Two chances with 4 dealt. No dice. Caught one deuces quad which helped with damage control. JOB quads were about average. Joker Kings good for awhile, but no five of a kind. Took a stab at Double Down Stud hoping for a big dealt hand, but no luck. And so it goes.....Some damage to the hull, but was able to limp back to port on one engine with the pumps operating at full.....Just as an aside, the car turned 288k today. No Royals expected from it. Has already given me 2 lifetimes of use.

491,000 hands and no Royal. When I hit 500k hands if not sooner, I am done with vp in Ct. I will still go to the casinos to work off the points, take advantage of free offers etc. visit people and maybe play a little craps until everything drys up. I also found two other vp players (regulars) who have gone between 300k and 500k hands without a Royal at Mohegan Sun. The vp players there are so sparse now, that you can almost get any machine at any time you want except for Friday nights and Saturdays when the weekend only players go there. There are now less that 20% of the regulars left and almost everyone is just about done with playing vp there. Too bad.
