Re: Harrahs Lake Tahoe

We used to get some but we did not list night clubs as an area of interest for us. We are mainly interested in free airfare through the Northern Nevada Air program, concerts, free play offers, and special events.
My host has mentioned something about airfare reimbursement. What are the details regarding that Northern Nevada Air program that you are referring to?
I am assuming you fly out of Chicago. Contact your host and she can give you the details, phone numbers etc. to take advantage of this. We fly out of DFW so Chicago to Reno should be no problem as well.
Here is how it works in our case. About once a month CET purchases a block of seats on a commercial airliner for their players that qualify to go to either Reno or Tahoe. With your level of play your ADT should be high enough to go to Tahoe no problem. Once you make the arrangements with Northern Nevada Air, you pay for it and when you get to the casino go to the cashier with appropriate documentation and they will reimburse you in full.
We have been doing this for years. It is a fairly simple process. Try it out and let me know how it works out.
Chattycatty - Under the Nevada air program, is it a charter flight or commercial? Which airline typically?

Under the Nevada airline program are they charter flights? If commercial, which airline?

The ones we take from DFW are commercial on American Airlines. They usually purchase a block of 20 or more seats on selected dates. I bet they have something similar out of Chicago. Once you do your first one and establish your ADT with Northern Nevada Air, it should be pretty easy for you.

We were going to but our host never came through with tickets. He hem-hawed around and said he probably could and this was not during a time when we could get free airfare. If the Eagles tickets were a sure thing we were planning on using our $750 airfare reim. for that.
Have you skied at Heavenly before? I guess you probably know as a 7 star you get 4 free lift tickets per season. I went last year twice. Even though last year was not a very good year for snow in Tahoe they did a pretty good job with the machines and the skiing was not that bad.
How was the Venice cruise? We have never used our 7 star cruise. We are doing the 7 star event NCL cruise out of NOLA in December. They are literally paying for everything. We are getting free port fees, taxes, fees, gratuities, and have already been confirmed in a very well located balcony stateroom. We also found out that we are getting the ultimate drink package free as well compliments of CET.
That means we get free water, sodas, beer, wine, or any thing else from any bar on the ship for free. In the casino, at the restaurants, by the pool, wherever. Additionally they are throwing in three free specialty dinners as well.
I hope it works out for you and you get to do the 7 star event cruise. These cruises sold out pretty fast. BTW who did end up getting for a host in Tahoe?
Chattycatty - I finally got confirmed on the cruise out of NOLA the week of thanksgiving. I heard everything is paid for, but I didn't hear about free drinks (outside the casino) or free specialty restaurants. We're those perks given to you by a host? I'm booking through the 7stars event line. Thx

You get a balcony stateroom, all taxes, port fees , and gratuities are paid for. As are all drinks anywhere on the ship including any restaurant, bar, or at casino. You also get a bon voyage party the night before at Harrah's NOLA. And you get a specialty dinner package free as well. Other than your transportation and shore excursions, CET pays for everything.
Its a heck of a deal and by far the best single benefit you get for being a 7 star card holder. I know you will have a great time. There is a lot of good information about the Norwegian Dawn on NCL's website and by going to cruisecritic.com you can get in touch with others that are going to be on the ship the same time you are. You should be getting a packet in the mail that outlines everything including the drinks and specialty dinners. We have already received ours.

I just inquired on the airfare program. My host implied it was more of an airfare reimbursement program, instead of getting me a previously bought ticket by the casino in bulk. I will get the actual details when my host gets back to me. I'm looking at a late January trip, so I have time to finalize plans.

We will be in Tahoe Jan. 10th leaving early on the 13th and again Feb. 14th leaving early on the 18th. We will be at Harrah's Kansas City during Super Bowl weekend. Other than New Years, not must planned at our local for beginning part of year. We also have another trip planned to Tahoe the second week of June.
